Why do people even care what kinda of title year it will be for Apple Computers? They never keep on they promise anyhow, for example:

2004: Year of the notebook.....yeah, right.
2005 : Year of HD...........yeah, how about NO.

It's true, so how about this:

2004: Year of the Notebook. (failed)
2005: Year of HD (failed)
2006: Year of the Notebook, but seriously this time.
2007: Year of HD, but seriously this time.

Well I think it has been the Year of HD really... they've started doing HDTV trailers, they released iMovie HD.. really they made it accessible to all.

Ah.....you are not taking advantage of HD trailers if you do not have an HDTV or HDrez computer screen. So HD Trailers are kinda pointless since I have to see an affordable HDTV connect to the QuickTime site. I do not call the 23" and 30" ACD affordable either.

Releasing iMovie HD, is pointless to the consumer if you do not have an HD camcorder, or an affordable HDTV set to view your content and even edit it.

So how is this the year of HD, if what is accessible is expensive.

Maybe 2006 will be the Year and Rebirth of the Newton. It has just a plausible chance as saying HD is affordable.

Chances are if you have HD equipment you will be using something better than iMovie HD, and if you have a dSLR you are going to use something better than iPhoto RAW for your RAW files. ;)

Year of intel

just seems like it should happen

If Steve Jobs says, "Year of Intel" there is a very very good chance that it will not truly be.

I have no clue as to why he even mentions that this is the Year of so and so.....just keep it shut man, what's the point. You cannot make other companies follow your companies mission statement for that given year.

2008: Year of the Newton II (just kidding)
2009: Year of the PPC (just kidding)
2010: Year of the Newton II (for real)
2011: Year of the PPC (for real) ;) :D
