That's sad if a team can't sellout a home playoff game. And talk about the epitome of "fair weather fans":
although some fans have said they would be reluctant to sit in the outdoor stadium during the heavy rain expected Sunday.

It's football for cripe's sake..Strap it on....

It rains almost every Seahawk game. Californians become the biggest babies the most it rains, especially those in Southern California.

Tomlin is gonna get some heat for those 2 point conversion attempts.Rookie coaching mistake. I understand his rationale , but as soon as that penalty was called and the ball was placed on the 12, they should have gone for the single.

I was at the old Mile High when they tried to set the NFL crowd noise record during the third quarter. It was a really hot Sunday in late September and after three or four attempts, they announced that they had it. It was amazing to hear folks drumming their legs on the stands to get the noise up. That was the season when the new Mile High was being built next door - we got to walk across where the field would eventually be before the game.

The next night we went to MNF at Arrowhead and, despite no record attempt being made, there was absolutely no contest for which was the louder crowd.

Qwest (Seahawk) Field I would say is probably the most consistently loud. May not have set any record, but it is pretty damn loud.

Nah. No big deal.

Letting the Jags run 32 yards on a 4th and 2 is what killed them. Pathetic.

It makes me mad that a top 5 college hoops team is playing a close game and we have to watch the coaches talk about what we already saw happen, and watch them say the same stuff every other coach says (we are worried about the next game, we made good plays to win, etc.)

granted, they probably dont have the rights to air the game.

Yeah, and the Cardinals used to play in St. Louis, but they changed their name when they moved out of the city. Likewise, the Raiders changed their name when they moved from LA to Oakland.

Don't worry, I also think the Redskins should be the Maryland Redskins. :)

Okay just checking lol. They should be the New Jersey Jets now, but then they did play in NY.

It's scary how much Tomlin looks like Omar Epps

Agreed.... except with more facial expression. Epps, at least in House, always just looks like he's constipated.

Wow. Our paths have crossed!

Definite wow! I wonder if we met in the beer line? ;) If I ever make it back out to Denver for a game, I'll say hello this time.

I think that PI call against the Jags was crap. Ward had the DBs jersey in one hand and the face mask in the otherl
Agreed... as a neutral, that made me root for the Jags

I've only been to Qwest field twice and although it was reasonably loud, I thought it was mostly due to the stadium design and less to the fans. Sure, the fans in the bird's nest always look like they're going nuts and sound loud but the upper tiers barely moved at the games I saw - possibly in fear of falling down those very steep stairs...

The Chiefs fans weren't going for any record, they were just being their normal exuberant and very noisy selves apparently.

I thought Heinz Field sounded louder tonight than Qwest did too although I guess since it was a closer game, makes more sense for the fans to be more involved.

No, what killed them was 4 interceptions and a kickoff return touchdown. Playoff caliber teams just cannot do that and expect to win.

There were other mistakes sure, but almost no playoff team is going to win if they throw 4 interceptions....

I just hope that since my team is out (vikings) that New England get spanked by someone, i don't even care who does it. I can't stand tom brady's cocky smile it makes me wanna throw up.

Asa Jet fan, I don't think anyone hates New England more than I do but you have to give Brady his props. He is an excellent quarterback and backs up that cocky smile with some kick ass performances.

Giants played a great game..Jacobs is a beast.Eli recoverd from a rought first quarter and played great....

Good Lord!! Phillip Rivers is awful

Anybody know how TO's doing? I know he had a high ankle sprain.. Wondering if he's ready...
I think they were hoping the 2 weeks were gonna help.

IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says he's "optimistic" that Terrell Owens will be in the lineup when the team opens the playoffs next Sunday.

"I like where he is," Jones said on his Friday radio show. "Our trainers are really satisfied with the progress that he's making. He's got his boot off. The swelling, [there is] none detectable or relatively little. And when you compare that and the nature of his injury with the rehab of other players in similar situations, then we [should] be optimistic."

Owens, who suffered a high ankle sprain on Dec. 22 in a game against Carolina when his leg got caught underneath him while being tackled after trying to gain extra yards on a catch, isn't wearing the walking boot he has used to protect his left foot.

Owens is also able to jog.

"I don't know, and I don't even know if doctors and trainers know," Jones said. "I don't know if anybody knows."

Don't like any of the teams left in the NFC :p

I'll probably root for the Packers as the least of my four personal evils...

Giants - can't stand Eli and can't forgive them for that dreadful game in London. Any team that play that poorly against Miami don't deserve to get to the Super Bowl.

Seahawks - division rivals. Don't like how they've built their team via free agency more than the draft though that could be because they poached a few good Niners players in the past.

Cowboys - well, hey, they're the Cowboys
