Next week will be interesting to see how TT does against OK........ Me, I will be pulling for the sooners. Take TT out of the picture completely and have the lone Alabama Tide at the number one spot! Yes I know..... but what can I say.

Roll Tide Roll.

How about that LSU game? Yahoo.

I'm rooting for Alabama, because a, I like Saban, and B, I hate Florida with every fibre of my being.

Rather disappointed about how Ball State dropped form 14 to 17. I go to Ball State and its nice to be BCS ranked!

And I also hate Florida

Unfortunately, it is the nature of the BCS... strength of schedule, computer rankings, and other components all change more than the human poll input. Hated to see my Dawgs drop a spot too :(

But you have had a great season!

And welcome to the Gator Hater Club™!

I hate Florida as well, but its undeniable that they are the hottest team in the country right now. They are rolling.

That is true... sadly :(
Makes me hate them even more
Welcome to the Gator Hater Club™ too!

So, what does everyone think the chances are for Michigan State to beat Penn State Saturday?

I think Sparty has a very good shot... and I hope they pull it off
I thought they were the team to beat Penn State instead of Iowa

So Michigan really disappointed me on Saturday with another loss.

On the other hand, we did make history! This is the first time ever that we've lost 8 games in a single season... well done Michigan!

Rich Rod was well worth the hassle and the buy out!
Battle Cry: "Wait till he gets his players in there for his system"
He may never get that chance... who wants to play for that team?

I always rooted for Michigan over Ohio State until this change was made
Now I don't care for either team

I think he is an arrogant son of a gun... right up there with Urban Meyer ;)

I agree. This argument is a load of crap. Yeah I can understand that it will take a few years for him to have a national championship caliber team. But 8 losses.....c'mon. That's the coach's fault not the players.

I actually like him and I think he's doing the best he can do with what he was given this year. Just wait until next season, we'll be back!

I disagree... I think it is mostly the players' fault. If you've been watching the games like I have, you can obviously tell it is not the coach. The huge error that Odoms made Saturday when he tried to catch the punt rather than let it drop is what probably lost the game for us. That was a HUGE turnover.

I disagree here... it is the coach's responsibility to get his players prepared. I don't believe for a minute that if Carr was still there they would have lost 8 games. They beat Florida in the Bowl Game last year. They may not have won the Big 10, but they would not suck, at least not this bad. Yes, I know they lost to App State, but Rich Rod's losses this year have been worse to me. New system? Yes. But he has not prepared his teams. They aren't buying in. That is the coach in my opinion.

Like I said... I have been a Big Blue supporter over the years... at least casually. But what they have done with this hire and year is disappointing. Maybe it will improve... but they better turn it fast or the boosters will run him out on a rail. He is not a Michigan man after all ;)

Well this Saturday we see who will be more than likely be the other school playing for nation champion ship and who will be Big 12 champain. OU beats Texas Tech and OSU they will take it.

UT is completley out of the running because if OU beats Texas Tech they will jump Texas in the Rankings and then beating OSU will lock them in. Texas does not have any big games left.

If OU Beats Texas Tech and then loses to OSU Texas is still out of the running because Texas Tech and UT will have the same record there for Texas Tech goes on.

I do hope the Texas fans choose to cheer on Texas Tech so a Texas Team will still take Big 12 and play for National champaign ship.

Texas Only hope in going for both is for OU to beat Texas Tech and then for Texas Tech to loose to Baylor which a snow ball has a better chance in hell than that happening.

I am not convinced OU jumps UT if they beat TT, not in the human polls anyway... simply because of the head to head loss. Computers? Maybe. BCS... depends. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. The Big 12 scenario is a nightmare. If OU beats TT you could finish with 3 one loss teams and only 2 going to the BCS Bowls. The BCS ranking will determine which one plays Missouri (who could spoil everything by winning the Big 12). That will suck... do you really think Utah deserves to go before Texas, Texas Tech or Oklahoma? Probably not... but does Utah deserve to be there over the Big East or ACC representative? Maybe, but that can't happen.

10 slots

1. ACC - Maryland and Miami control their destiny
2. Big East - Cincinnati? Pitt? WV?
3. Big 10 - Penn State
4. Pac 10 - Oregon State
5. Big 12 - Oklahoma? Texas? Texas Tech? Missouri?
6. SEC - Alabama? Florida?
7. USC
8. Alabama or Florida
9. Texas Tech or Texas or Oklahoma
10. Utah (if they win out... Boise if they don't)

Of course there are things that can change this... Oregon State losing to Arizona for one... Alabama losing to Auburn and Florida... but even then it opens the door for Boise, not another Big 12 team.

Still a lot of football to play... and too many scenarios to plot.

Yeah, it's not given that OU would jump UT if they win the game. We'll see how it plays out. I don't personally care how it goes - we've had such a good season, I'll be happy with anything. :)

I think Oklahoma jumps Texas in the polls if their potential victory over Tech is convincing. If it's a close game (or even sloppy) then I don't think they jump Texas.

So if Michigan State takes down Penn, does that take Penn out of the BCS?

I do enjoy watching Oregon State, but even if they get by Arizona I think Oregon beats them in Corvalis. Oregon beat Stanford, and Stanford beat Oregon State, so Oregon must be the better team. ;)

If nothing else I hope Oregon wins simply because it would help Boise's SOS.

This weekend is going to have some great games!

No kidding. I'm going to the BYU v Utah "Holy War" this Saturday. This year looks to be a battle for the ages. Both teams are stellar and are coming into the game with only one loss between them. It should be an excellent game to be sure.
