good job Hamilton, i guess you were meant to win.
i mean he is pretty good.
Up yours, Spanish racists!
But something which I don't understand is all this stupid Massa and Hamilton support from their countries. It makes no sense to me - these are individuals competing for privately owned teams. It's not like football or the Olympics where competitors represent their countries.
COME ON! so glad Hamilton won.
the best bit of coverage is where they showed Massa's family thinking they won it, and then losing, was historic.
Sadists.Guys something is stinky here with Glock but I'm so glad Lewis won.[/IMG]
Yes I would like to see the 2009 race in Spain scrapped altogether. Teach them clowns a serious lesson. There is a British MP called Miliband involved in this now.
Glad to see you've calmed down from earlier.
Well Massa will still be the lead Ferrari driver next year. You never know what's going to happen with the new fangled cars.
Glock and Trulli both have said they were on the wrong tyres at the end. Both their last lap times were close to each other.
I couldn't believe that McLaren and specifically Hamilton choked under pressure again...
Gutted for Massa,he won the race in the style of a champion.
Glad Ferrari won the Constructors Championship, it'd have been a bitter pill to swallow given McLaren really shouldn't have been on the grid at all this season.
Ferrari really need to tighten up the reliability and procedures though, Hungary and Singapore cost them the Drivers Championship.
Well done to Lewis.
P.S. I don't think I realised just quite how obnoxious Hamiton's dad is though.![]()
yes shame McLaren were allowed to race and try to beat Ferrari, how dare they. What a boring year it would of been if McLaren had been banned.
What is wrong with Lewis's dad?
Of course the season would've been duller without McLaren, but yes, shame McLaren were allowed to race and try to beat Ferrari, while they were still benefitting from the knowledge of not only Ferrari's operational procedures, but also their IP, that some of the elements of which... shall we say... allegedly found a way onto the 2008 McLaren.
But it doesn't matter now... justice was served in the Constructors Championship, and such is the level of changes for next season... it should be carte blanche for all.
I thought his general behaviour after the race was needlessly unpleasant and aloof, particularly his treatment of the media afterwards.
I'm pleased for Lewis, he's by far and away the best overall driver on the grid at the moment, it's just a shame he drives for such a bunch of cheats though.![]()

In terms of cheats, I will never really put any trust in FIA lawyers, but that is irrelevant and old news.
McLaren said:"As a result of the investigations carried out by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile it has become clear that Ferrari information was more widely disseminated within McLaren than was previously communicated".
I would disagree that it is irrelevant given that McLaren were in possesion of this information during the period that they were designing the 2008 car, there are reasons why McLaren agreed to halt development on particular area's of it, all this impacted on the integrity of this seasons Constructors' Championship.
But given the changes for next season... and that they didn't win this one either...I'd agree that it's old news now.

hey does anyone know what information was given. like about what parts of the car and what Ferrari had made.
just wondering.

Funny how Renault confessed to having received the same info that McLaren got from Stephney, but this was after McLaren got done so Renault got off scott free.
Hmmmm... Oh and discounting the 9 points Massa gained from the FIA throughout the season.
Good race though. Massa deserved the race, Lewis the title, Ferrari the constructors. And to top of the balance sheet JB's car burnt, good riddance to that one!
What happened at McLaren, and the more I think about it, the more I think they got off lightly, is a lot of the very senior engineers, and drivers, knew of the information and the continued to use it, even whilst the FIA investigation was going on. As soon as the senior engineers knew that Ferrari data was being used they should have gone to the FIA, they didn't and continued to use the illegal data.

AndyR said:Agreed, but this sort of spying goes on in all teams all the time.
Of course it does, silly me. All the teams have blueprints of the other teams car, and a mole inside their main rivals, that provide a near continuous stream of information relating to not only the technical details and secrets of their rivals cars, but also information on operational procedures and race strategies etc.![]()
