Tallest Skil wasn't the only one caught by Intel's release date change. 😱 Several forum members, including myself, were looking at MacWorld '09 based on the original release date stated for November '08.
Once they changed that to Q1 '09, any projection had to change accordingly.

I've botched my fair share of predictions in these forums (see my Mid-tower prediction a year ago) - if we were all correct all the time it wouldn't be much fun.
I... really don't see how you can get humor out of it. They changed their release date, I changed my prediction because it couldn't happen anymore. That's all there is to it.
