I didn't like the design when I saw the leaked images, and I still don't. But I'm completely sold on the functionality, and that's why I have it. (A nice case has rendered much of Apple's design invisible, anyway.) Outside of an occasional minor glitch here and there, I've been thrilled with iPhone 4's performance. Its video capabilities alone make it an indispensable gadget for me.
 
Apple knows about all of this. In fact, they let the word out so they keep people interested on their products. The rumor exists if Apple wants to.

The iPhone 4 was no pre-arranged 'accident'! In fact, Apple should learn - test the device in its proper shell, to avoid further antenna / future engineering issues! You don't test equipment / software effectively when its outside of its 'environment'.

I never said it was a fake. I hated the design at first but now I think it's the best iPhone ever built.

Dont think i commented in that thread but i didn't like the look of it so much, and i still don't. Prefer the 3GS styling. But its made a good read going through those replies from April :D

All these things were exciting. Made me want a new iPod touch even more than I did.

Although, it's true that if Apple did give out fake leaks, the real keynote would be more exciting.
 
All the leaks are a part of Apple's PR machine. No one saw the coming of the iPhone before Apple had a press release six months prior to its availability. Apple knows how to keep secrets when they really want to. ;)

Does anyone really know the direction of the AppleTV? It is highly upgradable so some leaks on future updates to its iOS would be appreciated especially now that I have one. :D

1. The phone will not work well with a metal case....bad for reception...so the metal case is bogus. The iPad has all the Wifi circuitry in the plastic Apple on the back....This device is all metal...so the wifi and cellular reception would be horrible.

3. Making things out of metal is harder than plastic, and why spend time and money to make things out of a material you will NEVER use and cannot accurately test because it will affect the performance of the device.

4. The design is ALREADY finalized and its probably being put into production...this isnt it.

5. All those citing the 3GS case being matte...thats the SAME CASE just without the gloss coating...not a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT case. There is a huge difference. You can still test the phone with that case, and its easy to see visually if its a prototype because of the matte coating.

LOL! if you look at the first few comments they are all coming back on their word. heres an example ...

Buttons are entirely un-Apple, there are seams...

If this is it then I'm getting a 3GS instead. This thing is hideous."


then in his signature he is the happy owner of an iPhone 4. :D
 
Also the new White MacBook was leaked about a week early by someone in Vietnam, if i remember correctly.

I'd spotted that and he's even posted in this thread talking about the iPhone 4 but he hasn't owned up yet. :D

I still think it's ugly, but it performs like a champ so I'm not that concerned. I liked the look of my first Gen much more. Plus, I'm always afraid the back of the iPhone 4 is gonna crack. I think they should rethink the back.

think of it... actually, all Apple products have been leaked !!! there is no need to count :p
