Just want to know how many of you do NOT have the "Freezing" issue.

If you have it, this thread is not for you. Please do not post here. I just want to see how many problem free MBPs we have out there.

Thanks.

Not me. BTW seems a poll would be better to gauge scope...

No poll. Since I only want people to post here if they dont have an issue. People with the issue need to stay away and go into their own threads.

And if people don't reply you assume that they have "the freezing problem"? Or perhaps that they don't bother replying in this thread?

Btw, I don't have it.

Tom

No freezing here. Machine has been *flawless* so far. Been pushing the machine to it's limits daily via encoding and gaming, 10+ hours of daily use. Core i7 17", 8GB Ram, 512GB SSD are specs. Cheers.

Theres your poll.

I am not going to go into detail here... but their are about 200 other threads on these same forums about this issue.

Please read.

Who lit the fuse on your tampon???

Anyway, I have no such problems. If you want better feedback, maybe go into some detail on your thread. I'm not totally sure what "freezing" you're talking about, but apparently you have it since your so upset.

My MBP's running very smoothly (15" 2.4 Core i5, 500gb 5400rpm, Hi Res Anti-Glare). Sorry to hear about this unfortunate problem for some. From what I hear, it is likely a hard drive issue.

8GB Ram, 512GB SSD. I'm so jealous right now. haha I couldn't afford another $1800 though.

But I do love my i7 15".

I do not have it :) but i have 2 more MBPs on the way for family members and just want to see what the likely hood of having this issue is.

I just took delivery of my second 15" MBP (specs below) and so far it's fine as is the first one which is identical.

I highly encourage those who _DO_ have the problem to call into Tech Support, the more users that report in with this the better for everyone.

I would not count on the Genius Bar to report the numbers as accurately as we can one at a time through tech support.

No problems here. (MBP 15" i7)

Used the laptop lightly for a day, while waiting for my ram to come (had no issues before upgrade). Then upgraded ram to 8GB and installed C300 SSD drive. After the upgrade laptop still runs flawlessly.

i5 2.4GHz standard screen, standard hard disk, standard RAM, no freezes whatsover.
