Hello I just bought a sapphire nitro rx580 8gb and I installed it on my 2010 mac pro and I'm having an issue where windows does not display a picture on my monitor. It reads on mac os but not on windows. I even changed the start up boot to boot camp windows. And nothing shows up. I put the original graphics card ATI Radeon HD 5770 and the rx580 8gb at the same time and still nothing comes up. The original graphics card works no problem on mac and windows 10. Even tried to install windows again and couldn't as nothing displays on my monitor. Is there any way I can use the rx 580 on windows?

There are two options as far as I know. Either you stay with the dosdude rout, which means you can go up to Catalina. With this you will need to use the iMac Pro bootcamp drivers To use and boot from Windows 10. Look up google there are plenty of descriptions how to do it. My 580 has been flashed, so I have a boot screen where I can choose from. You may consider this. The other way to do it is the open core rout. With this you can have even newer OS X installed but it’s more finik. I did this two years ago, so the process may have changed. Apple is always on the hunt to close these loopholes.

If you 100% sure the RX580 is working, and Windows itself is working, just the display driver doesn't work. Then when you boot to Windows 10 with your 5770. Go to device manager, change the display driver to Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Then shutdown and change the graphic card to the RX580.

Once you boot to Windows 10 again, you should able to see the display, and then you can install the RX580 driver (download from AMD website).
