chassis: same old maybe a bit different
hard drive: uprade on size all same in 13inch but both others will have upgrade to 1tb and bigger ssd (ssd which no one cares about)
ram :all same
screen :maybe oled most likely not, maybe to edge screen would be nice but also most likely not
processor:major uprade (main uprade out of lot most likely)
SuperDrive: faster but no blu Ray
prob erly feb late feb

I just ordered new Mbp coz I couldent wate my other got dropped by brother and then he spilt water on it ...grrrrr

judging from the buyers guide on this website, it looks like it's almost a month overdue for a release. there is the announcement (most likely tablet) happening on the 26th.
I am assuming they will use this as well to release the latest refresh of MBP's, most likely with the same case but better hardware specs.
My problem is that I will be in the USA until the 27th, and was going to order a MBP for myself. Now that I know of this announcement and waiting for an update, I am considering waiting BUT as I leave USA on the 27th .. do Apple usually make their announcements and the products available that same day/week? Or we will have to wait?
This is so annoying. First time I've got money to buy a MBP, and I'm stuck now of not being able to get one because I'll buy it and they'll upgrade it but I won't be in the USA to return/replace it.
Speaking of, what is Apple's return policy. If I buy a MBP can I take it back into the shop if they announce an update and get my money back and buy the new one (if within 14 days?)

Yeah you can return it if a new one comes out within 14 days but really whats the point? Just order a new one when it is announced and have it shipped to wherever you are going.
You will likely have to pay the import duties when you return home. Some people sneak through by various methods, but if you get caught you can be stuck with not just the import duties but also a fine.
yeah I've always wondered how they enforce customs when someone can say they've owned it before
Usually customs doesn't care if you are just carrying one of something, even if it's new in a box. They only really care if you have several of the same things.
