I generally don't have any new years resolutions because anything that i can do to improve myself on January 1st should be done through out the year.

No more what ifs. With girls, with school, with jobs. No more thinking well what if i had done that. I am done with that. It is time for the what if i hadn't done that....

Instead of saying loosing weight, for example, state that you will loose 1 pound per month for a total of 12 pounds this year.

My resolution is that I will start forcing people to write "lose" instead of "loose", no matter how painful it might be for them; it's for their own good after all.

To get in shape for my sisters wedding in 2011 and to buy my first car. Possibly a Jeep Wrangler 4-Door...? That's it.

I was gonna include getting a BF, but I'm beginning to think I'm asexual. =/

This and the reason why it's crossed out made me LMAO. :D

Umm, let's see: Start new career field. Keep weight off and maybe shed a few pounds. Live on less money and enjoy the free things in life more. Continue on Macrumors, as long as I don't say something stupid and get banned. ;)

So much for that one. And it's only the 2nd here. Ha ha!

In my defense it was late (0130).

Then again, my point was to lose weight which could be construed as loose because with regards to fat, you are to let loose; free from bonds or restraint. :p

But yes you are correct.

Now that's a good goal. :)

I like your style, I share many of the same sentiments

I would simply like to pursue being happy and any steps that result in that

Although I am 24, I feel life is going to fast. One of the things I hate about life as you get older is that everything you do has projected dates. What this does is make time pass far too quickly for my liking

I just want to live, not exist

Wow, keep it open ended, and realize we are not on some schedule in life.

I backed off that and life has been better. When I was in grade school, I had to finish to move onto middle school which I had to finish (graduate) to move onto high school for four years. By the time I finished there, I had no serious intention of trying to finish college in a strict time frame.

I took my time and got to really experience life. After college, I was in no hurry to get a job in my field, but just get something that gave me free time to enjoy my hobbies and life.

Today, nearly 20 years later, I will slowly ease into a new career but I don't have any deadlines or big goals. It's important to enjoy life because nobody will care if 63dot was the best accountant. It's just a job.

Also, I am yet to see a gravestone which says, "So and so was a good accountant, engineer, mechanic, gardener, guitarist, programmer, or whatever." Usually what is said is that the person was a good spouse, parent, or giver to society of some sort.

It puts things into perspective.

To get laid even more than last year. :)

Is this even possible??? :p

As I prepare for a new year I've got most of the basic goals that have already been listed, lose weight, get in shape, better diet, better money management, etc. etc.... This being a technology forum one thing I've been definitely putting off for a long time is completely getting my digital life in order. If I could accomplish this goal in the next 12 months it would be incredible. It's amazing how crazy your digital stuff can get if you don't stay on top of it. Before you can blink your hard drive is full and it's like the proverbial "junk drawer" that never seems to get organized. So, I guess I'll get to work on that... :D

1. Lose a stone or two. Im 14 stone. Fairly bad for a 19 year old man lol.
2. Save money. Saving for a Macbook Pro, so it will take me around 16 weeks if I do it.
3. Go to more gigs and festivals.
4. Travel more. Went to NYC last year and fell in love.
5. Looking forward to pushing away a MS machine and onto the wonder of a Mac. And here's to many hours on this great forum!

To continue overcoming my anxiety problems. Probably will never completely conquer them, but I want to come pretty damn close. :D

This year begins with a major personal loss. I am going to turn it into something good.
