2011 Macbook Air Wifi Upgrade Question

I would like to know if a faster wifi card can be installed on my macbook air. I would like to have faster wifi speeds to connect to my home network.

Tricky question, depends on antenna i would guess. So i would say no...

It apparently can be done. But requires some snipping and re-soldering of antenna cables.
You need AirPort card BCM94360CS2 (presumably from the 2013 Air).

- The consensus around these boards is that it's a case of "it's too good to be true". People have ordered from them but never received anything. They also use wrong pictures for different machines. It just seems sketchy overall.
