There seems to be a lot of issues with a macbook pro detecting external monitors.
I have a late 2011 macbook. I have tried using adapters for Mini display port to HDMi and also mini display port to DVI, on both occasions, the first time I plug them in I have no issues using the external monitor (LG).
but once I disconnected the adapters, and then try and plug it all back in my macbook wont detect the monitor again.
I have reset the pram, & smc,updated everything. I even updated to EL Captain hoping it would work, but nothing.
any other suggestions please help!
