Whoah! was waiting to see someone post about the un-leveled bottom or one of the rubber foot that's off size on the new MBA's. I'd do an exchanged if mine was one of the stock but un-luckily, mine is custom. I got a Speck case for it and now i don't have that problem anymore. Hopefully like someone posted earlier...just hopefully it fixes itself.

I was about to fork over 50USD for a Moshi "iGlaze", but according to Apple, my problem was specific because the entire bottom chassis was a bit curved. It was the custom i5/8gb/256, so I couldn't really replace it. It's fixed now, but I'll have to wait another 2 weeks till I go to Hong Kong again :(

Well, got my MBA back from HK a few weeks early, and remarkably, the problem was not fixed - the replacement chassis had the exact same error, although to a lesser extent. However, after an hour of resting my palms firmly on the areas near the trackpad while surfing the web, the problem seems to have gone away.:eek::cool:

Got mine yesterday and noticed that the laptop is only standing on 3 of the rubber feet. With laptop opened, the bottom left isn't making contact with any flat surface, which makes it extremely annoying while typing (you can constantly hear the laptop hitting the surface as you type or move hand).

I am sure Apple will have no problem exchanging as I just picked it up. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue or not. :D

Lol, check your TABLE again dude, i ran to the apple store whining about the same and later found out that my table at home wasn't really flat haha !!

This is normal. My 2011 and 2012 have it and so do all Air's I have played with. At first it annoyed me but I don't notice it anymore. The issue is with with the bottom of the laptop being extremely thin and able to flex. Every time it is picked up from that corner it will push the cover in a little especially if the screws are not tight, it will go back to normal after a while. Usually it is the left foot closest to the palm rest. When the screen is open it will actually lift the front foot a little and with it halfway it will keep all 4 feet on the surface. You can tighten the screws on the bottom cover and this usually helps and avoid picking up the laptop from the corners with one hand.

mine have this problem i do not even noticed it until i really used my computer now... it's 7th week... i think i will send it to service center... will i get a permanent fix for this?

I have the exact same issue with the bottom left one, see my thread below:

The best method to fix it...

Just grab macbook with open screen and flex its base (little by little if you are scared). You will have to apply some force - if the base is severely warped you may loose screws first. Make sure you have even table to assess effect. This method was tested on my old air 11" and brand new 13".

Hope it helps
