15-9. Red Sox may be doing better, but man the AL East is performing exactly the opposite so far of what the analysts predicted. Toronto Marlins are showing moving to a colder climate doesn't heat up your performance.

Why does Pettitte always struggle against minor league players?

He can dominate major league players, but tonight gives up 5 ER to minor league players. Last year in his minor league games, he struggled. Comes up to the Yanks and dominates for 12 starts.....

He may be one of those pitchers, especially since he doesnt have the best stuff nowadays, that relies heavily on studying and understanding each and every hitter on the opposing team. Such as Buehrle. Just a guess.

Not that hard to sweep a minor league team..... :p

LOLz. :D I love when that happens.

I'm cautiously skeptical about the Red Sox, but having (very) low expectations and thus far having them wildly exceeded has made the season pretty fun. It looks like there's life at Fenway Park again. Thank god.

The one thing I did believe was Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz would bounce back. Just too much talent not to. Going to try and attend a game in May, so automatic good luck there for my boys.

Who knows what will happen, but I'm just going to enjoy it. Viva Big Papi. :D

Bounce back is an understatement. Everyone knew the impact that Farrell had on Lester and Buchholz when he was the pitching coach... that was the biggest factor in them wanting to bring him back to manage. Best decision they have made in a long time.

Every time Lester or Buchholz takes the mound they make Bobby Valentine look like more and more of an idiot. :D

I am super excited for the Twins in 2-3 years. We have sommonster prospects coming up, Sano leading the pack. He reminds me of Alfonso Soriano in his prime... quick swing that makes the ball fly off his bat. Only thing e really needs to focus on is his defense.

Love the fact the yanks are playing pretty good even with all the injuries!!! Looking for that next ring!!!!!!
Long way to go before we start talking about rings. And we really haven't hit the hard part of the schedule yet.

Today Joba has checked into the Yankees medical center...... 15 day DL.

I recently drove through NY and a Yankees game was on the radio. The game wasn't bad but the announcer (male) had to be the worst baseball announcer I have ever listened to.

It's not just you, John Sterling annoys most Yankee fans too.

Glad to see some MLB love on MR!

DBacks fan here. Injuries and inconsistent starting pitching are killing us early in the season. They're sticking with the pack, but can't afford to skid much longer. The Giants and Dodgers aren't going to wait around.

glad i found this! i am a red sox fan. i wish we could get a closer who isn't always injured, and isn't blowing saves.
