2014...Apple's worst year ? iPhone 6 plus

After owning almost every iPhone, this is the first time I walked out of an Apple store shortly after a new iPhone launch and had absolutely no desire to get one. I guess we'll save our two free upgrades for next year to see what Apple does with the 6S.

Having owned a 3g, 4s, and a 5, the 6 is definitely the most impressive to me. Just a matter of taste I guess...

Apple could buy the Cowboys, shut them down, pay Jerry Jones to go live in a shack, and still be sitting pretty.

What does that have to do with the phone in your hand? Does it effect you directly? Lol

In a league that is "Non-Profit", although I don't think teams don't operate that way.

Err... the 6 and 6+ both way more than the 5/5S, so if it was too light, you got problems.

You mean "weigh" more? I know they do, I think you misunderstood what I meant. It's that the size/weight ratio didn't seem to have been carried forward, for such large device it "felt" too light to me, taking away from the premium feel. Which is totally subjective and I know some appreciate the lighter weight.

Yes weigh... God knows what happened there. Always good to make a spelling mistake when berating someone. Oops!

Yes I do know what you mean because when the 5 came out after I had had the 4S, I thought it was too light and felt a bit cheap.

However, the 5 really was lighter than the 4s, whereas in this case the 6 is heavier, but you say it feels too light. I accept your view now you've explained, but I'm still surprised you feel that way/weigh/whey!!

Apple profits over 68% on each iPhone

Lets say they sold only iphone 6's 16gb at $650 to carriers and customers

$650 - 32% iphone cost = $442.00 per phone
10,000,000 x $442 = 4.42 Billion in profits on the first weekend.

2014 is a great year for sure.

This year is going to be super rough because all the Apple execs aren't going to know what kind of leather to get in their new private jets.

Those guys will be traveling in waterbeds with all the money they are making.
