Tom Coughlin is out as Giants head coach. What about the GM?
I saw that on profootball talk. I have to say that he looked like a beaten man this season and I think he lost control of the locker room. Do you think the Tom Coughlin of 2010 would allow the OBJ's shenanigans or would be oblivious to the punches thrown by him?

If they haven't done so already, the Giants organization is going to appreciate Tom Coughlin now. I know playing/coaching in a city like New York comes with expectations but it could be a lot worse. The Giants could be in a similar state as the Rams, Buccaneers, Bears, Falcons and a bunch of other teams. I know as a Rams fan, I would take Coughlin's 12 or so years with the Giants (with or without the Super Bowl rings) over what the Rams had since Dick Vermeil left/post-Greatest Show On Turf.

I think Tom is an old school coach that time has passed by. I do think he gave up, but I also think the players gave up on him. Even tho they say it was their fault for the way they played and letting Coughlin down, I just don't think they had the fire under them to work hard. I also lay a lot of the blame on the GM. Jerry Reese is one reason the team has the players it does. A coach can only coach what he is given.

Reports are that the GM is safe. And Sean Payton is very interested in the Giants job.

Tom Coughlin resigned. He wasn't fired.

Just throwing that out there.
I think the ownership basically told him, he'll not be coaching the Giants in 2016, and its up to him how he wants to leave. Given that he gave them two super bowls they didn't want to fire him, but they didn't want him to be their coach either.

That is a pretty reasonable scenario.

So the Chargers, Rams, and Raiders have all filed for relocation to Los Angeles.

Oakland wants to move south. Chargers want to move north and St. Louis wants just get out of Dodge.

St. Louis should get it. They were there before. It will be cheaper hehe

That way Seattle only has to fly to L.A. instead of St. Louis.

St Louis owner pissed off just about every other owner in the league. I see the Rams and Chargers moving. And the people of St Louis being so pissed that they don't bother anymore.

Not only that, Ryan Grigson is sticking around as well. Dude is complete trash, and I feel bad for Andrew Luck right now.
As long as Irsay owns the team it will always be trash there.

Pagano and the crazy owner have reached a contract extension.
Wow, never saw that coming. I guess Irsay will be eating a large contract next year when the Colts have a miserable season. I wonder Grigson is on his way out, because there was a lot of friction between the two and its his fault that the O line was porous
