Mine also got bumped up to 15-21 from 21-25 here in Canada (see previous post a bit up). Makes me think that they will ship them this week-end or Monday so you can get yours on the 14/15 and I'll get mine on the 15/16!

My BTO (just added 16gb on the 2.9ghz 512gb base model) 13 ordered on the 27th at 1pm PST with a Nov 17th-25th delivery is still processing

I hope it goes PFS soon! I want to play with my first Mac already!!!

Ports Question
Thunderbolt 3 - Usb-C?

Till now, in my mbp(late '13) I have 3 cords connected:
- magsafe (for power)
- thunderbolt-to-ethernet adapter (for network)
- usb cable that goes to a usb hub (many usb devices)

How I can cover these needs in the new mbp?
I suspect I need adapters, so give something practical to see/search(ebay/whatever)

OK, what the hell! I log into the Apple Store and see that there is a problem with my Credit Card. I was unsure whether it would hit a limit, and apparently it did.

No problem, I just choose to enter my MasterCard instead. Except that the Apple Store wont accept the entered data as correct. I tried two times.

Call up my bank which can see that Apple has just pinged the MasterCard with a symbiotic amount. WTF?

The Apple Store wants me to enter the credit card data again, but my bank says it has indeed been pinged. Jesus. I will have to call Apple tomorrow. Sigh.

Oh f***, Apple support is closed for the weekend.

Happened to me with the iPhone 7. The site just would not accept my card. I called up and paid over the phone with the same card and it went through instantly.

And don't worry - you have 24 hours after a failed payment to rectify it without affecting your delivery date.

Not enough power for the USB-C port. Additionally, when plugged in via USB-C for the display, all USB ports on the back of the display go to 2.0.

Oh nice. I ordered the same model and am located in Canada.
My delivery window went from Nov. 21-25 to Nov. 15-21. Since yours is 11-18 I think we should see first deliveries on Monday/Tuesday!

Maybe it's because it's a hollyday...

You'll have four USB-C ports on the MBP, so just use a different one for power with the supplied brick and cable. Problem solved.

Are these usually sent via FedEx? If so, will there be a way to designate delivery instructions to the driver once we get a tracking number? In the past, for example, has anyone designated to have their Apple delivery signed for by an apartment property manager at the office/clubhouse?

Hahaha, and all that ridiculous "call Apple and get your shipping upgraded" nonsense comes crashing down in pile of burning futility.

At least we have concrete evidence for next time now: if it's not an option at the time of ordering, express shipping is not available.

All these people upgrading their shipping - I assume you missed the discussion yesterday!

If expedited shipping was not an option at the time of ordering, this is because Apple is already using it.

It's highly unlikely that you will receive your MacBook sooner by ringing and asking to upgrade shipping.

People do this every time, and never get them sooner.

Most people are paying about $14.

Yes, definitely go for it if you like. But it won't arrive earlier.

Don't worry about it. The people you're speaking to know their stuff, and know that for pre-orders upgrading shipping does not make it arrive faster. They're doing you a favour saving you $14.

You will get your MacBook at the same time as everyone else in the same slot who called and upgraded.

"I don't want to say I told you so, but I so informed you thusly!"

Okay, I'll stop being smug now...
