And finally my credit card is charged here in the Netherlands. I ordered right after the keynote a fully loaded 15", but with the standard 512GB. Still saying "processing, 16-23 nov" though.
Just got an email saying my order has shipped!!!!
Then I opened it and it was for my extra USB C power adapter
Mine was charged yesterday and is PFS... so I figured I would be getting one of those emails today as well...
Sadly that order went P4S the same day as my 15" BTO MBP. One has shipped, the other has not
Should also say that shipping today it is scheduled to deliver in the Seattle metro area on the 15th. So, its possible the MBP will arrive the same day if it goes out today but likely not until Wednesday at this point
So on a more positive note, I just found out that my mid 2012 rMBP that constantly crashes due to a dGPU failure should be covered by Apple: https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/

As much as I hate to say it, this actually makes sense. If it ships Wednesday then it should be in people's hands by Friday which is the 18th, that's only 1 day more than the earliest delivery date. Except for those who think they got express but actually didn't
One other note about the dGPU repair: The program covers affected MacBook Pro models until December 31, 2016

You don't know any better than anyone else. You may be right, but its silly for anyone here to pretend to be the wise man who has some inside scoop. Could be Wednesday, could be the week after. So long as its within the broad range given on your order page, they are still in spec.

As equally unnecessary as all the "hey i'm preparing for shipment" and "when will it ship" posts. At this point this thread has become mostly a pastime until we get satisfaction. If anything it lets folks blow off some steam while we impatiently wait. No lives are on the line here, after all

I think you are saying they'll arrive on Thursday, which I agree. But while I fully expect most of them to arrive on the same day, I doubt they'll all ship on the same day. Instead UPS will just hold them until Apple says to deliver.
Geez, you guys bug the crap out of Apple CS. Just wait. It will be here regardless of whether you bug the crap out of them or not.
