I will quote this when we all get tracking numbers leaving China. The stock ones may be in the US. I've never had a MacBook preorder ship from the US before. But I've always done BTO.

Let me rephrase....anyone with a BTO MacBook Pro with TB will not see it before Nov 15th. I have a strong feeling the non-stock ones aren't in the US either. Stores are reporting they won't have demos for weeks.

No bro. Lol.

Plenty of people had delivery dates TODAY to this weekend, just a few pages back there was an IG post with one in a coffee shop.

Myself and many many others have a 14th delivery date.

Apple had said to many including me that the first batches were shipping to the US yesterday and earlier in the week. Who knows if it's true, but if it is it debunks what you've said.

And as someone who has preordered before, they actually do often ship from the US, it's really only iPhones that strictly ship from China. Macs have previously shipped from the US all the time.

You have not a clue when people will see their machines so stop spreading misinformation.

Not sure what you found funny with logistic facts. I will quote this when we all get tracking numbers leaving China. The stock ones may be in the US. I've never had a MacBook preorder ship from the US before. But I've always done BTO.

Also I wonder why BestBuy is giving everyone a date of the 16th...hmmm...ships from China and arrives on the 15th....moves out to BestBuy on the 15th....BestBuy has your mac on the 16th. Most in the US won't get it to the 16th either but I bet some living within a logistical area will get it on the 15th.

How many reviewers have these right now?? Every one of them likely. So good chance that a single one was in a coffee shop.

I've ordered 7 macs in the past 8 years. Only my two iMacs shipped from the US and that is because Apple does the BTO configurations on them in the US after they are built in China. All my 5 laptops came out of China.

Your "information" is just as likely misinformation as mine is. I'm just stating actual facts of when UPS flies there Shanghai - Anchorage - Kentucky flight. That has always been the UPS route for macs and iPhones and iPads. At least all the ones I've ordered. I've had some go Fedex in the past but again from China.

We'll see who is correct but I don't see why you have such an issue with me giving flight information on the most common flight Apple has used in the past for shipping preorders.

If people don't find this useful then so be it....I will keep posting this information every few pages....just to inform others who have their hopes up to high. Again stock ones may be in the US already because that does make sense from a logistical stand point.

Hey if I'm wrong and everyone gets their macs on Monday then that is great. We shall see if my information was right or not in a few days.

Damn I'm disappointed from Apple I ordered a 512 GB Maxed out CPU and Maxed out GPU 15" MacBook Pro and instead of processing 512 GB they processed the 256 GB one and now order is preparing for shipment. The CS Rep told me they can't do anything now as it's already preparing for shipment. cancel the order and reorder it :/. It kept showing 512 and now it's showing 256. CAN'T DO ANYTHING OR CAN I PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOMETHING WILL THEY OFFER ME ANYTHING SPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE MISTAKE THEY MADE :(

That's a real good analysis. Would align with Apple quoting delivery of 11/17. Works out for me as I'll be working from home the 15th and 16th.

Thanks, I'm glad someone can appreciate a little research. And Apple will likely beat their 17th date as they love to under promise and over deliver by getting the first batch 1-2 days early for most.

I know Nate said a lot of people have delivery estimates for this weekend but I just checked the spreadsheet and no one on the spreadsheet has one before the 17th. So where are all these people with earlier dates? Does anyone with a BTO have a date earlier than the 17th??

Does your original email confirmation show 512GB?

They should do something about that for you. I'd be phoning back and escalating the complaint. I would expect them to re-order you the correct configuration and move you to as soon as possible to get the one you ordered.

Just for the record, and hope. While my phones have usually shipped from China UPS, my macs usually ship from China Fedex. There is a Fedex flight from Shanghai to Memphis tonight in eleven hours, FDX 96. and then one 6 hours later to Anchorage. So if they are using Fedex, they could be shipping soon, we can just guess until we know for sure.

I actually really hope they do go Fedex also as Fedex flies up to where I live in the far north of Canada and UPS will go by truck adding about 3 days or more. I have had a mix of Fedex and UPS over the years but more recently its always been UPS.

Have people that already got there non-touch ones said if they came via UPS or Fedex? And did anyone say if they shipped from China or the US?

Agreed. The most interesting part of being here at product launches and people bringing up all kinds of wisdom and ways to make speculations. We should respect these kinds of work because it actually takes time and presents a way of thinking. Maybe yours is closer to the truth, maybe his is closer to truth, or maybe both would be proven wrong. But that's not the point. Even if someone proven to be 100% accurate, if he's guessing, then it's a good guess at best, unless he KNOWS what's really going on then it's not guessing. We are all guessing here. We all want to make good and accurate guesses. Thanks everyone who took time to discuss and do research and post their work here. Much better than seeing people **** and throwing **** at each other.

I agree, the fun of this thread and the many past preorder threads is we can all get excited together and share whatever info we have from past experience. Also we get to ignore all the haters and complainers in the other 100 threads in the MacBookPro forum!!

Totally. Man, if I had that kind of energy, I'd use it for something else, maybe write a review of my day, my week or whatever. What's heroic in winning a unimportant fight? I'm more interested in improving knowledge and get company here while I wait for my new machine! Researches are great inputs than just a claim, as they give more insight to a certain kind of thinking process. Thumbs up again for doing that! Hope yours and everyone else's ship soon!! FedEx UPS come on get it going!

Excited :D

In Canada (Vancouver) and my 13" stock is still processing, no charge and earliest date is weirdly Nov 18. Ordered about an hour and a half after they came online, so I'm just hoping I'm also in the first wave.

I'm about an hour north of Toronto. Stock 13" TouchBar. Was originally quoted 21 - 25 shipping. Card was charged today, changed to PFS, and date was bumped up. Ordered at 2:29pm EST October 27th.

Is there anyone from Germany that has PFS already?

I ordered a BTO 15" within 2 minutes after the store went back online on the 27th and I have yet to see any movement... My card isn't charged yet and its still processing..

My delivery date is 11/16 - 11/23...is there any chance at at all, that I can even get it next week, let alone before the 16th, considering that nothing has even shipped yet? Too bad that the 16th is a public holiday in the state I´m coming from :/

In fairness to the above comments about where they have shippled from both my previous macs have shipped from china.

The first was a stock MacBook unibody in 2008 (ordered launch day) and the other a BTO iMac a couple of years ago (also ordered on launch day).

Other people I know had them ship from the uk but they were ordered a couple of months after launch.

Based on my limited experience I'd say if they ship from china or not could depend more on if it was ordered around launch day that if it was BTO or stock
