I ordered an in stock 15 inch at 2:40 eastern time after the keynote. No charge on credit card. No shipping status changed. Nov 17-25. Sigh

Apple really wants to keep us guessing on when these things will arive. Some have been charged but nothing else, others haven't but are preparing for shipping, and some have their delivery dates moving up but nothing else. I just hope I get it when everyone else who ordered on day 1 does

Still no money taken :( Still no change for Aus preorders :(

In the same boat! Ordered 7 mins after you. Nov 17-25. 15" stock. No charge on my card. Not even a preauthorization. No change in status. No moving forward the ship date.

So.......
My no movement on my Apple order (anticipated delivery 11/23-12/1), so I cancelled it!!

BECAUSE.... I happened to check Best Buy again and apparently they released some more with guaranteed delivery on "Release Date: 11/16". Confirmed via chat before cancelling the Apple order and placing that one that delivery is guaranteed.

Not sure how long they will last, but FYI for anyone looking for stock units!

The next UPS81 flight doesn't leave China till 9:33PM (China time) on Monday. It won't arrive into Kentucky till 1:00AM on Tuesday the 15th of November. No one will be getting these earlier than the 15th in the USA. Unless Apple can actually fill a plane with these and gets UPS to add a flight but that is asking a bit much.

Bottom line, Nov 15th will be the very earliest day we will see these delivered in the US. Therefore I don't think we will get shipping notices till Sunday, when it will be Monday over in China. Maybe a small chance of notices tomorrow if UPS collects from Apple on a Sunday all the palettes to then take to the airport for Monday. But seeing that they have all day Monday to move the stuff to the airport I doubt we will see shipping tomorrow.

That's funny except the fact that most of these are probably in the US already, especially stock models. This is another thing that's been discussed to death earlier in this thread.

Not sure what you found funny with logistic facts. I will quote this when we all get tracking numbers leaving China. The stock ones may be in the US. I've never had a MacBook preorder ship from the US before. But I've always done BTO.

Let me rephrase....anyone with a BTO MacBook Pro with TB will not see it before Nov 15th. I have a strong feeling the non-stock ones aren't in the US either. Stores are reporting they won't have demos for weeks.

Also I wonder why BestBuy is giving everyone a date of the 16th...hmmm...ships from China and arrives on the 15th....moves out to BestBuy on the 15th....BestBuy has your mac on the 16th. Most in the US won't get it to the 16th either but I bet some living within a logistical area will get it on the 15th.
