2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

It looks like my 13" BTO has shipped and will be here on Tuesday 11/15. My Apple order status page still says PFS, but I used the UPS "Track By Reference" feature to look up my order by my phone number, and it was able to find my tracking number for me. I can't wait until Tuesday!

Ordered the following on November 10th. Seems to be a longer waiting period than most here.

Yabba Dabba Doo! 15/2.7/512 stock SHIPPED! Email this morning at 0210am. UPS Shanghai to Georgia (USA). Delivery was Friday but moved up to Thursday the 27th. Excited!

Now UPS has updated it to the 15th for us. I expect it to move back to the 16th though like everyone else. Apple still saying PFS.
 
Mine just shipped a minute ago - got the notification and everything. No tracking status yet. Guess it's a second wave. Ordered around 4 PM ET on October 29. Just got the notification at 7:15 AM ET.

The SMS notification gave a delivery estimate of the 18th, next Friday, but I don't see anything on the website.

Finally! 15" BTO Shipped, no official confirmation from Apple but I'm tracking it on a 7:14pm flight out of Shanghai.

Europeans will probably get a 'shipped' notification when the MBP is shipped from a warehouse in Europe/their own coutry, so you will get a shipped notification and a day later have your MBP unlike Americans who get their shipped notifaction when the MBP leaves China.

This is something that has been repeated a lot in this thread. Do we have any source on this? Has it ever happened before? Alternatively, they could have just prioritised orders from North America.

The last time it happened was when Apple released the iPhone 7/7 Plus. European customers received their iPhone from one of the following warehouse locations:
  • Prague, Czech Republic
  • Eindhoven, Netherlands

but they were all stock... let's hope our BTO's will behave the same way and ship from one of those 2 places....
