Anyone know the logic with Apple's delivery dates? I ordered on the 29th with a 3-4 week wait, and the estimated dates are 28th - 5th. Which by my count is 4-5 weeks?

I know the dates are different depending on region and not massively fussed, but can anyone explain it?

I believe the 3-4 weeks is when it ships, and then they're allowing an extra week for shipping, making the delivery date 4-5 weeks.

Apple counts working days so 3 weeks would be 21 working days, and 4=28, so that way their estimated dates are right.

My 13inch BTO to California has arrived in Alaska at 12:32 local time (Alaska time). Looks like I'm still on track to receive it Wed.

I'm writing this posy with my new MacBook Pro 15", 2.7 Ghz, 1 Tb SSD, Radeon 460, 16 GB RAM. What was a little bit unsatisfying is that this almost maxed-out in terms of processing power and ram machine is slower than my maxed-out late 2012 iMac... Not a fair comparison between laptops and Desktops but there is definitely noticeable difference.. Wish Intel has made more progress in recent years in terms of processing power for laptops

You think the 2.9GHz would of made a noticeable difference? I am getting your build but with the 2.9GHz CPU.

Also are there benchmarks for the 2.9GHz yet?

Is there anyone with a BTO 15" in Australia who has Received shipping ?. Im in BNE with an estimated 16-23 Nov, friend is in SYD with estimated 15-22 - both on preparing to ship for 26 hours.

The 3-4 weeks is shipping and the specific dates and delivery.

It'll obviously take a while to get from china to its final location.

Ah that makes sense. Thanks to all who answered that one. Was just a little confused. Not ordered from the Apple online store before and not sure I'm used to seeing separate shipping/delivery dates in the UK, only just noticed it today and gave me a o_O face.

Back to waiting.

Is there any way to tell if your MBP is on FX72 before it lands? The last updates I have from FedEx are International shipment release - import at 2:41 am and in transit at 3:29 am in Shanghai. No departure scan.

Any one from Hong Kong has their 15-inch touch bar shipped?
I had mine for PFS on Sunday but still no news. My delivery dates: 14/11/2016 - 21/11/2016

So... tomorrow is the 16th here in Melbourne, Australia - the first day of my delivery window. I' super excited, but at the same time I'm sad. When I woke this morning and checked My Orders, no change had occurred. It still says PFS and I still have all my money :(

There's still some hope I'll get it tomorrow, isn't there? o_O
My delivery window began yesterday and I'm still in preparing with all my money still, too. :(

My status has been the same, and I also have 16-23 delivery. Hearing that some others have a Shipped status, with delivery by Friday, makes me worried that I will have to go the whole weekend without my new MBP :'(

The fact that there's such a variance in when people in the same city are likely to get their orders seems ridiculous. Surely such a large company can organise their deliveries better than that...

...end rant.
