I feel like mine is being neglected just being left out to fend for itself in Shanghai. Delivery went from 18th, to the 17th, back to the 18th in a matter of hours - same tracking status all day.

I just looked at all the UPS planes coming from Anchorage headed towards Kentucky. I counted eight in the air right now. Crazy! That's a lot of packages.

An hour ago, UPS changed estimated delivery back to the original date of 11/16. I just checked again, and it has changed (again) to early delivery tomorrow. Just left Tennessee. Please don't mess with me anymore UPS. lol o_O

Just over 2hrs and the MacBooks land in Louisville!! Now I get to watch in what crazy manner they make their way to Canada....I've seen them go all sorts of odd routes over the years....but for me it will eventually get on a truck and tracking will disappear for at least 3 days...then UPS will suddenly say Delivery Date Unknown and then usually it will get delivered when it was supposed to but I get left in the dark.

It's been over 24 hrs and UPS still hasn't updated the progress yet, the tracking info is still unavailable.:(

If you have a stock 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and Touch ID, it took 29 hours before tracking information was available. It's now shipping from a Apple Distribution center in MOUNT JULIET, TN, US.

Does anyone live in Anchorage here? I was curious if they let your stuff off the plane there or if they always move it through Louisville first and then back....seems like that would be ridiculous but you never know.

105 will win in the end.

They are so close it will depend on which pilot is nicer to aircraft control...LOL

Those who have it already; what's your impression of the touch bar? One thing I've noticed is that "esc" is almost always there. I find myself reaching up with a pinky as I always would have and tapping it; and being a little 'surprised' to touch glass. But, it's always right where I subconsciously expect it to be.

It could look a little better, honestly. And so far I haven't found it to be tremendously useful. But perhaps as I use it more and more. For example; it actually takes more time to adjust volume and brightness than before; making it a multi-step process I have to look down for instead of something that I can do with a couple of taps of a key. As more apps use it though; that might be a welcome trade for contextual interface elements on the touchbar.

How does the space between the keyboard and screen look in person?

It's not too bad but I think older macbook pros looked better.

For some reason, every time I look at the trackpad, I start laughing because it's so big.. Just looks so funny. I feel like the $400 price increase wasn't for the touchbar... it was for this giant trackpad. Don't get me wrong though, I love the new macbook pro. I think it's gonna take couple weeks to get used to it (for me).

Weak.

Who knows, big distribution centers need to streamline I'm guessing, so anything is possible.

I just have a feeling 105 will win. It has, after all, the hidden power of my 13 inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, 550 Iris graphics, 1 Tb SSD and 16 whopping gigabytes of RAM within it!!! ;)

I am getting worried. My label was created at 1am today PST and I still have no movement at all on my UPS tracking. It is scheduled for delivery on the 16th but UPS still says, at least their website, that they don't have the item yet. Also, its shipping from Rialto, CA and I'm in Davis, CA. When should I see some sort of movement or at least that they have the computer? Anyone in the same situation as me?
Same here. I'm in Mesa, AZ. I got the shipped notice from Apple this morning and from UPS overnight. Still no movement. Still in Rialto (I guess) and scheduled for delivery Wednesday.
Anybody know anything about how this works? Perhaps they have moved and they just haven't updated the status.
