Been lurking for a few days, but had to register to explain my saga:

Ordered 27 Oct PST (28 Oct in Asia) for delivery from 14-21 November.

Monday 14 Nov goes into PFS. Today is Thursday 17 Nov. 80 hours later it's still in PFS.

I have no idea what kind of game Apple is playing at but it stinks. I see on this forum that people who ordered a week ago have already got shipments. I see that others in Asia who went into PFS after me, now already have their laptops in hand - already delivered. I see that people can walk into Apple shops and buy laptops. I mean, what gives?

And what is up with this 80 hours in PFS and still no shipment?!

Hey, before switching over to the EU thread, here is the news from Germany:

My MacBook is shipping and I will get it on monday!!!!!

A few minutes ago I got the email from Apple.
As written before: its been an amazing journey with you (here and especially in the "waiting" thread. Thanks for all the entertainment.

Best wishes to all of you!

Can those in Asia who have received shipments please let us know what is the "Shippers Reference" being used so that we can potentially track shipments before Apple updates the status?

We get DHL here, not sure if theirs a trick or not.....I'm in same 14-21 window and just went P4S about 30 hours ago....still sitting there.

They will miss their delivery slot if it's that long.
I assume you are also HK from your user name, so there's a chance they will dispatch tonight with overnight delivery.
Fingers crossed, but not hopeful. Others in Hong Kong and Asia who have shipped & delivered have taken 2 days for delivery. Shipping tonight probably means delivery on Saturday; and shipping tomorrow means, Monday.

They gave you a Windows, and they still have time till 11/21

email them what you're looking for and they'll tell you the stock you've had, I've never had a problem doing it this way in the last 7 years, this goes for any product even iphones. I got two this way today and another one walking into store

When you do this do they know you are not a business customer? I can't buy it as a business because I have Apple Store gift cards to use.

I'd love to try this method and get out of this wait...

I have the following message on my UPS tracking status page, since I decided that it would be easier for me to just drive to the customer center to pick it up: The receiver requested this package to be held for pickup at the UPS facility. / The receiver agreed to pick up the package this evening.

Does this imply that it won't be ready for pick up until this evening? It seems to have been scanned at the customer center already.

I'm on the same plane. Mine said delivery tomorrow by end of day. Now changed to Monday for no apparent reason. :(

Very annoyed since mine sat at customs in China for 3 days.
Mine was bumped to Monday but overnight travelled from Alaska to Chicago and is now on the truck for delivery!
Good luck...fingers crossed that yours comes early too!
