2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

I have a question not about shipping because it seems like no luck for me to get it earlier :(

(my delivery window Dec 7th - 14th)
13-inch MacBook Pro with touch bar - Space Gray

Configuration
  • 3.1GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • Intel Iris Graphics 550
  • 512GB PCIe-based SSD
Anyone has ordered or know any good case for 13" MBP with touch bar?

How's yours coming along, Cesar? Mine made it to the SLC sort facility early this morning, but no movement after that. I have another FedEx package coming today, and that one is loaded on the truck and out for delivery. So unless this is coming on a separate truck, it's not coming today. :(

Mine is the same, it made it to sorting facility this morning. I'm 99% sure it's going to be delivered today but we probably won't see movement until noon-ish. I've had packages delivered the same day they made it to sorting facility, before. But hey, at least the finally cleared customs haha

My original order was 2.6/512/460. Once the geek bench scores started stacking up I realized the processor bump was probably more important than the video card bump. Turns out the apple engineers actually picked good configurations to offer stock.

That's good to hear! Update: mine moved from SLC to Ogden. That's a different facility than my other package. So you're saying there's a chance!
 
Mine just got dispatched ! 13" TB BTO... (to Denmark)
Original estimate of arrival was 18.-25. nov ....

After it was dispatched it is now 28. november!! 3 days over the estimate !!! :mad:
But I can only hope it will come before..

Macbook Pro 15" - 2,9GHz - Radeon Pro 460 - 2TB SSD just changed from "P4S" to "shipped" right now.
I'm based in Switzerland.
 
Anybody in the UK pre-ordered the 13" MBP? or any configuration with the touchbar?

I ordered straight away, but configured to a different processor/RAM. curious to see if anybody has had "shipped" yet.

Also, are all the units coming from China, or the UK?

Mine just updated to "Ready to Pickup" !! Woohoo! I chose to pick up at FedEx location because I'm in school all day

Has anyone in the UK moved from P4S to Shipped yet for:

I placed order about an hour after the store came up, originally had a delivery bracket that would have closed now but it changed a while back!

Mine went from Customs Delay, to departed Memphis, To Arrived in MPLS, To Ready for pickup all in 4 hours lol.

so it was true that fedex's tracking website was delayed

Yeah, finally movement for us in Europe. Got a tracking number for DHL like a lot of others. It probably still in China, so how do you flight tracking gurus find out when DHL has their air cargo leaving? Really want to see this beast leave China ASAP! :rolleyes:

Well someone may move up on the list now.

I had a 15" MacBook Pro 2.9GHz/1TB/460 on order and I found it in a local store.

This is going to be a long day as it is already paid for now and waiting for me to pick it up.

It's been fun on this thread and I hope you all get your new MacBooks soon!

I am pretty upset with Apple right now. My delivery date was just pushed to Dec. 1-8 from Nov 17-23. I had my order confirmation 7 minutes after the keynote. My order still shows processing and no card charges or authorizations have happened.

I needed a new laptop by Nov. 27 as I am going out of the country for 2 weeks and have work to do (current laptop is on its last legs). Looks like I need to buy another now.

Do you know how many they had available? I actually live about two hours from there.
 
I think UK DHL packages will be on flight: Y87455, route: PVG - CGO (03:00 - 05:05), CGO - AMS (07:35 - 13:55). I'll keep my fingers crossed on this one.

Props to Fedex. I was in Memphis like many others at midnight last night. I was doubting that my delivery would get from there to California, sorted, put on truck for delivery all overnight but they did it! Especially after sitting in Memphis for almost 2 days waiting on customs clearance. Professional company doing professional delivery. My delivery date never changed from the time it shipped on Sunday, 5 days ago. Like I said earlier, I could've just not followed this insane post and nothing would've changed. But I guess you all understand why I HAD to.
