2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Ordered my SG 2.7, 512, 460 on 10.1. from a reseller in my country. They said that the order cannot be tracked because it has to go through an intermediary first so I'm hoping it will arrive this week. It su*** not having an official Apple store in your country when the shipping times are around 1-2 weeks for a CTO model.

Oh buddy I sincerely hope you will get your shipment quick. You might even wanna consider purchasing through the Apple website. I am having a horrible experience with a (German) reseller. Have been waiting since the 31st of October for my CTO 15" model.
 
Ordered my 13" TBMBP CTO on 23-jan-2017, status changed to shipped 30-jan-2017 around 10 AM. Estimated delivery on 10-jan-2017. I'm in Sweden. 11 days to ship?! Are they shipped by boat from China or why so slow?

I made the mistake of ordering adapters in the same order so they are shipped separately and will be merged along the way. No tracking number available yet. I guess it will show up once items have been merged?

Anyone with the same shipping date? How long does this merging process usually take? Any tips on how to track before apple publishes a tracking number?

Yep. Ordered 6th of January, had issues with credit card that took me three days to resolve, but still the MBP arrive on the 24th while 26th to 6th was expected.

And by the way, I am super happy with it. No issues at all. Battery time is also pretty great, I got 12hours with 75% screen brightness while sitting in a academic panel the other day. Using only Preview, Excel, Safari and Mail, granted, but still 12 hours. Be sure to use gfxCardStatus to know which apps are using the (battery draining) dGPU. In my case, it was Acrobat DC always using the dGPU, switched to Preview for viewing PDFs.

I live in Norway so not 100% sure, but I think the normal path is Pudong --> Nederlands (Amsterdam) --> UK.
[doublepost=1485987279][/doublepost]New update on my Macbook pro: after been on the phone with Apple three times last the last three days, Apple finally gave me a tracking nr for Kuehne & Nagel. KN handed the delivery over to TNT after being stuck in Nederlands somewhere since the weekend.

Original estimated delivery: 7th february, but now it's pushed to tomorrow (2th february) 😀 😀 😀

Ordered a 13" tbMBP 2.9Ghz with 512SSD and 16GB RAM at an iCentre (Retailer in the Netherlands) on saturday. They claim 3-4 weeks of time for a CTO, but I think I'll be waiting for 4-5 seeing as they don't even have the stock model in stock with the exception of 2 shops.

Won't be a problem though; the 2012 rMBP is still blazing fast, but waiting for new stuff is always an experience.

Didn't have to order the TB version for the stuff I do, heck even an Air would do fine, but since I'm selling my rMBP why not get some bells and whistles right? onto another 5 years of Mac pleasure!
 
I ordered the same as Eloped minus the adapter on the 27th, estimate was Feb 10-Feb 17. Projected delivery from Fed Ex is Monday, Feb 6th.
 
Hello guys so i ordered a macbook and it says processing items and also says ships 1-2 weeks when do i expect it? it is a custom one ???????????????

I've ordered 15"/i7 2.9/512GB/16GB/4GB GPU with USBC to USB and USBC to Thunderbolt2 adapters from Apple.nl on 25th of Jan to Amsterdam. Choose home shipment because the date was shorter than pic-up option. The status is Shipped, but when I go to the details, status is "Preparing handover to final carrier". I'm kind of loosing my patience 🙁

Does yours have a scratch under the left speaker grill? Seems to be a common problem that plagued me and a bunch of other people that went for custom 460s.
 
So I'm giving the 2016 15" another shot, this one has shipped much faster than the other. Shipped last Thurs and it's already at my local Fed Ex sort facility today (Sat). I can't believe it's that fast.

I hope so, I ordered on the 31st of January, quite late in the day though if I remember, estimate was (is) 1-2 weeks, 15th-22nd February. Which sounds more like 2-3 weeks if you ask me 😀 (tbMacBook Pro 15", 2.9Ghz, 1TB SSD and 460 graphics.) Last night as I slept it changed to preparing for dispatch.

Of course there could be some delay between that and actually shipped but hopefully not too long. Then of course it'll probably take at least a couple of days to get here from Taiwan.

Getting excited though, it shouldn't be too long, they teased me by delivering my pile of cables and adapters at the beginning of the week 😀

I ordered mine the same day with delivery in Italy, shipment combined with a USB cable. Mine is still a step back, no updates since yesterday.

Mine changed today to "In Transit to Customer- Shipment on Schedule". But there's no tracking info yet. Getting more impatient...
 
Mine changed to dispatched last night. Ordered 31st of Jan with a 15-22 Feb delivery. According to UPS tracking it'll be here on Friday 10th.

On 3-feb-2017 my delivery date changed from 10-feb-2017 to 6-feb-2017. I really hope the UPS guy doesn't mess up the door code (again)!
 
Any idea why it's spending so much time in Arnhem?

funnily mine has been dispatched today.....but funnily this time UPS is delivering it usually DHL does it...would there be a reason they have used UPS this time?

Never had TNT deliver anything from Apple for me. Always been UPS. Guess it's just luck of the draw!
 
Do you guys think that it is normal for a CTO order - 2.7, 512,460 to take 6-7 weeks for shipping in an EU member state through a reseller? When I ordered it the estimated shipping time was 3-4 weeks (which is quite long in my opinion compared to the official Apple channel shipping times...) and it has just now been extended for another two to three weeks. Is this just the usual cra*** reseller shipping experience or are they changing something in the production and it is late because of that?

What reseller was it and which country?

A reseller here in the UK quoted wait times 1 week longer than compared to the Apple Online Store
