Apple just attempted to charge my card too, but citibank messed up and declined the card twice... despite me calling them twice and warning about the charge and them assuring me they won't block it...

Order Time: Within 5min of store opening after the keynote
Delivers: 14/11/2016 - 21/11/2016
Country: Hong Kong
Config:
13-inch MacBook Pro - Space Gray
  • 2.9GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • Intel Iris Graphics 550
  • 1TB PCIe-based SSD
  • Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
  • Touch Bar and Touch ID
  • Force Touch trackpad
I am leaving Hong Kong on the 15th, so I am a little worried my order will get delayed and I won't get it in time...

To top it all off, citibank is upgrading their systems and needs me to call back in 30min... aaargh :)
That sucks man. Hope they sort it out.

About time Apple charge my card too.

And that is where those 250USD come in handy. :D

Well I plan to sell My Early 2011 MBP 15" and Mid 2014 14" when I get the new one. Together they should fetch around $1,567. Subtract that from the $2,709 I spent and in the end it will only cost me $1,141.

You mean mid 2014 13"?

My credit card got hit too by Apple in Australia. It's all happening!!!

Edit: how long between credit card charge and shipping?

Good morning!
Joining in again at page 75 today, all I see is the continued discussion about wether the 'prepared to ship' posts from the guys from HK are legitimate or not! Who Cares?!? All I care about is when MY order goes into p2s, which will most likely be towards the end of this week, 10.-11.11.
I hope the remaining 4 pages contain something else too ;)

Have a beautiful day :)

Edit: they did! Thank you :D

So, eventually I placed my order yesterday. It's a stock 13" w/ 512 GB. Delivery timeframe - Dec 14 to 20. How many chances from zero to none do I have to get it before then, let's say November 29?

Damn, I was so stupid not to order on keynote day.

Wow, you must be fun to be around. ;)

Just had a look back through my emails from my last MacBook Pro order (2012 rMBP).

I think orders were originally accepted on the 11th of June 2012, I placed mine 3 days later on the 14th.
I was quoted a 3-4 week dispatch window for delivery between 12 July and 18 July 2012.
It changed to prepairing for shipment and also shipped on 2nd July and was delivered to UK (direct from China) on the 5th.

This time around, again, I placed my order three days after they keynote on the 30th of October.
Again, quoted a 3-4 week dispatch window for delivery between 28 November and 5 December.
So, going by the last order could mean shipment on 18th November for delivery around the 21st.

what is your device config please?

Apple charged my card earlier today too. Still says processing though :(

I ordered a 13" space grey with 2.9GHz i5/16GB/512GB. Delivery dates are 15 - 22 Nov. I live in Australia

I am only reading this thread to have a smile on my face because ppl go nuts.
Really, everyone has a delivery date as early as the 14th or 15th and usually it takes 2-3 days to ship it.
We waited so long and now you can't stay relaxed? haha

But keep on going like this... makes the waiting a little more entertaining :D
