Obviously?

What, is it going to be Card Charged --> Shipped --> Preparing for Shipment instead?

The poster above asked "When do we get charged? When it's preparing for shipment or when it ships?" to which the next posted replied "when it ships". In that case, it would mean the card is charged after the order status changes from "Preparing for Shipment" to "Shipped". That hasn't been my experience, so I was sharing.

Not 100% sure, but I suspect the hardware release is being timed with the release of macOS 10.12.2. A patch to 10.12.1 relating to Touch Bar is available, but it seems more appropriate to distribute such code in the update roll up (aka 10.12.2).

Not likely I think....10.12.2 will be many weeks away yet, and these MBPs will likely start rollin out this week.
If there is a fix then it will be a small hot fix that will be applied rather than a full blown x.x.2 release.

Keep in mind folks, even though Apple has this overpromise and underdeliver reputation with shipping products; getting the first ones out this week is not a given. It very well could be two more weeks before the first ones actually ship.

In vietnam, 1 person have had an mbpr with touchpad. He post on the website"nhattao.com"

OMG!

It got delivered!
Yep, and completely Apple supported :p
  • Safari Preferences -> Advanced Tab -> Check the option "Show Develop menu in menu bar"
  • Go to the Apple website, then go to your orders page
  • Press Option-Cmd-I to bring up the inspector
  • Click the targeting icon
  • Move mouse to "Processing items" header. It should light up. Click it, and the exact HTML should appear
  • Rightclick the HTML and click "Edit text"
Fun times :)

I took a bit more time to make it perfect, but, yeah, inspect elements are so much fun!!

I guess I will be waiting an extra 2 weeks. I cancelled my original orders. well i just ended up upgrading to the 460 and 2.7 since it was only 100 dollars. Apple doesn't verify education discounts if you order online i guess and i do plan on going back to school in the next 6 months so i don't feel bad. So i saved 200 and cancelled my original order. My computer is just fine right now So i can handle an extra 2 weeks.

I'm still debating whether I want mine at all, I've got a 15" 2.9/1TB/Radeon 460 4GB on order but I really still don't feel confident dropping this cash and being limited to 16GB for 3 more years. Does the standard return policy apply here? 14 days? I may as well keep the order through and see if there are any noticeable performance increases from my Late 2013. If not, I'd cancel and get a couple lenses - and keep on not having to think about carrying a separate SD reader for awhile.

Yes, the standard return policy applies. If you are coming from a 2013, I doubt you will notice a big performance improvement.
