Please consider that you card provider will not tell you about charging or will be a few days late...
You are buying old tech for a high price. That's ok... but please let us order some really new Notebooks with cool new Thunderbolt 3 and USB ports which your Notebook will not have. And i'm very happy about the TouchBar. Maybe this is a useful input device.

yah.. the adapters are not even needed.. in most cases Just two or three cables and problem solved. I love the new USB-C style. the old huge USB port days are gone guys..
I have my order to Dec 9-14 (Spain) but as I am paying an insane amount for the all maxed 15'' with 21% of Spanish sales tax with an international credit card I am considering to purchase one or two dongles and AppleCare a bit before I expect my card to be charged, to train the credit card company in recent Apple purchases.
For those who have had their card charged by Apple, what's the chance of recieving delivery by Friday?
I'm also from Canada (Montreal QC) and ordered a 13" base model with Touch Bar within 5min of store opening (2:33pm EST conf email), still not charged and just "Processing Items".
Delivery estimate is Nov 21-Nov 25

That is not true, it depends on your provider. For me (Amex) I get a text message immedeately after an amount is blocked.
If it ships today? Pretty much certain. It'll be 3-4 day delivery regardless if where you are at the most, so if you get charged today or tomorrow you'll get it by the weekend.

I have the same estimates and i havent been charged yet. Ordered 13" bto 3 hours after keynote
Anyone in the UK had a charge taken yet? Ive ordered a custom build 13" with Touch bar. I ordered within a few hours of the keynote, and have a delivery window of 17 Nov - 24 Nov. Anyone in the same boat? Currently showing "processing"
Out of curiosity, can I ask where in Canada and what your est delivery date was? I'm 21-25, Toronto. No movement yet.
0! these are regular provisions that companies perform in order to make sure you can *still* pay the items/services...
I have another pre-order from apple so far i got 4 pending charges and they were all dropped after couple of days.
It seems like none of us have been charged yet. I'm in the same boat: BTO 13" Touch Bar, ETA 17-24th November. Ordered ASAP when the website came up. No charge, still processing.
So now 9 hours after card was charged, and still sitting at processing.
Looks like they are getting everybody's money first, then will send out in a batch. Was kinda hoping it would shift to P2S fairly quick and then dispatched tonight, but doesn't seem that way now.

Omg they charged me! Apple Store app still says processing tho. I ordered on the 1st day, 13in BTO from U.S.
