My friend have had his MacBook Pro for one week and there are two 0.5cm microscratches across the screen (visible when the screen is off at all angle).
I'm getting my MacBook next week and I wanna know that if it's safe to apply a screen protector.. I wanna apply a screen protector because I use my MacBook Pro outdoor a lot (sand and stuff) and if I remove the screen protector, will it cause the #staingate issue or damage to the anti reflective coating?

I have the same issue your friend has.

I'm thinking about getting a screen protector keyboard microfibre cover, but I'm not convinced it is the best solution. So I can't answer your question, but can confirm the screen is very delicate.

I've read your thread and consider getting the radtech screensavrz now... don't understand why Apple wouldn't make the screen a little more tougher when it's so expensive..

Thanks for the reply! :)
