iPad Pro 2018 iPad Pro screen flickering

I have been experiencing a my screen quickly flickering black when watching video full screen on my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9. I recently had this unit swapped out under apple care about a month ago but not really sure if it was an issue until now. Currently running iOS 14 but not sure if that would be related. Anyone else experience this?

You might be affected by PWM.

I have the same issue since updating to iOS 14 on my 2020 iPad Pro 11". Intermittent flickering when playing a fullscreen video. It happens with Safari and with Plex.

The only common denominator I see is iOS 14, so it's probably a bug and should be fixed with one of the next iOS updates.

While it suck its good to hear someone else is having the issue, Hopefully it is ios14. I’m getting the flickering on Netflix, amazon video And Apple Store content.

While it suck its good to hear someone else is having the issue, Hopefully it is ios14. I’m getting the flickering on Netflix, amazon video And Apple Store content.
 
This is happening to me as well. I was hoping my iPad was not defective. Mine seems to occur when using Zwift and only started happening recently, probably when I updated to iPadOS 14 on my iPad Pro 11”
 
I google searched this issue came across this post. Its super annoying but seems it happened after iOS14. I am running a 2018 iPad Pro. Its flickering happens during movies in Netflix and Plex...pretty much any video service.
 
The update seemed to fix it for me. I was on Zwift this morning and did not see it flicker once
 
so is it finally sorted out? I got the same issue on a refurbished unit I got from apple (ipad pro 2018) when playing videos and was starting to get a bit hysterical.

It seems to be solved for me with the recent update. I have not noticed it anymore
