13" Is the way to go if travelling, you won't regret that. The 11" MBAir was a fantastic machine for traveling that could still drive a LOT of screen over USB when docked. Such a shame they dropped the 11" footprint. Although I will admit that the 13" MBP I have now is not THAT much bigger.

It arrived! I will never listen to all the bad things about Apple products until I try them out for myself. All of the things that I worried about are really non-issues. First, the keyboard is tremendous. I had worried it would be noisy and that the tactile feeling would be troublesome. The keyboard is wonderful. Yes, it still clicky, but I like that. The speakers on this little machine are AWESOME! They are some of the best! The Touchpad is fine and I'm learning how to use it and I really like the finger print reader. I love the size and portability. I do miss the 2" of viewing area, but I'm sure that I will adjust! So relieved. Thanks all!

Dude seriously, nothing is worth getting that mad over.
I think it's a choice thing. I have no major issues with it (it's quite customisable, eg. to put a space between the touchid sensor and Siri to prevent accidental activation). Note there are two sets of settings for it - one in keyboard settings, and one in finder - view menu.
My only concern is the 13" gets HOT from just basic web browsing. Doesn't seem right.
Intel seems to like their Coffee hot, from what I gathered.
It's 68 degrees in my house and I could use my laptop as an iron or a coffee cup warmer! My palms are actually sweating. I'm SO NOT an Apple hater, but this is aggravating! Breakfast party at my house this morning. Bring your own bread and toast it on my MBP. I'm sad : (
If you just got it, it may be either indexing, or if you have a Time Capsule, it could be backing up. Mine was quite warm initially during these processes. Click the battery at the top of the screen, it will tell you what is using a lot of energy. When I clicked the battery, first it was Spotlight (indexing) and then Time machine (backing up).
Also, download the new update if you haven’t.
Another thing could be if you are surfing and there is a lot of Flash content, that could be causing it too.

Next week, I should receive my new 2018 13" MBP, 500GB HD, & 16gig's of RAM. I'm so excited to downsize from my hefty 15" MBP. Although, I'm terrified as to what my experience will be like with the Touchbar. I love the idea of the fingerprint reader, but apprehensive as to it's functionality. It seems more like an aesthetic than anything else
Ordered the identical one, coming Wednesday the 1st. Go Bucks !
