2018 mbp new keyboard patent

Let’s hope Apple uses this new patent in their 2018 MacBook pros. I’m sure they are tired of financing all the keyboard top cover replacements. Should have been this in the first place IMO.

Interesting.

But I believe what they need to do is to "go back" to the earlier design keyboard which is more robust and also offers more "key travel" for a better feel.

That patent was filed back in 2016.... The title of the thread is misleading.
