Hi All,
I am a mac technician for the government. I will not say which department because security. With that being said we have at least 30 mac book pro 16 touch bar ranging from the last 2 years that all crash/kernel panics. There is nothing anyone here can do to resolve the issue. We have replaced countless logic boards, top covers, screens, etc. It fixed zero computers. Some of the new ones function just fine but many of them recently have all had kernel panics. The fan spins up at high velocity before crashing
Mostly happens when
*Using dual monitors on a OWC USB-C docking station
*Using any docking station connected to a ethernet port
*Using any collaborative meeting software specifically while in a meeting with audio(Zoom, MS Teams, Webex)
*Adobe Acrobat is open with several pdfs
*Google Chrome
*Cylance
I have about 5 recent log files. I can post them here if anyone is interested but I talk with Apple Engineers once a week because we have a support contract with the engineers and their answer is all of this should be fixed with the release of Monterrey OS but Im not holding my breath. The IMAC's dont seem to have this issue at all and the 13 inch mac book pros dont crash nearly as often maybe one crash a month.
