The same
When ordered says 13-20 may. Now only 20

Surprised some are coming Friday but good news. Mac OS 10.15.5 must be out any day as I believe these need that OS to work with the 10th gen CPU’s.

I think it's the Ultimate edition that is usually carried at Apple Stores, hence the fast shipping vs other BTO's

UPS says May 11 delivery date

Everyone should be prepared for delays as my 2020 MBA order last month was delayed by 10 days as UPS is having a hard time keeping up with their "Christmas in Spring" volume....

Wow, that's a lot of Space Grey! My current MBP is SG but my next MacBook (if I decide against waiting for the new iMac) will be Silver.

Right now, looks like I’m the lonely Silver MBP, but I absolutely love the color. Nothing wrong with the Space Grey, my iPP is SG, but I’m returning to Silver now.

EDIT - Saw another after refreshing.

When I went to check for the i7/32GB/2TB, I can only get quick shipping if I order in Space Grey. Silver will take the extra week longer.

Interesting - the CTO/BTO orders with 2TB drives have an expedited shipping option, but the moment you select 4TB you only get standard shipping. Seems like Apple plans to stock the i7/32/2TB as a retail store BTO option, much like they do for the 16"

Yup, we've been calling it the Ultimate Edition around these parts for some time with prior releases....
The Ultimate 2020 MBA configuration is oddly the i7/16/512gb model...

The “ultimate” term was actually coined back in 2010 when Apple released the revision D MacBook Air. At that time Apple had stores stock a number of max spec configurations, which I believe was 1.6/4GB/256GB SSD. They continued the trend for the 2012 retina MacBook pros where again stores stocked the max spec configuration and hence “ultimate”. I believe Apple even called it the ultimate configuration in their internal sales memos. Nowadays however with the insane ram and storage configuration options it looks like the max spec is generally too much for the even the prosumer public that would buy these machines in the store. Interesting.
