My Hermes series 8 is on the move. It must be shipping because the charge just hit my Apple Card. It never was pending on there until today. The Hermes watches are just something else to me because the unique face and bands. Can’t wait to get mine.

I’ve got an ESR in hand for my 14 Pro, it covers the Dynamic Island fully. I had an ESR for the entirety of my time with the 13 Pro, that also covered the notch, and Face ID wasn’t affected in the slightest. Just as fast and responsive as without a screen protector. I’m not worried, but I’ll respond back on Friday and report back!

I noticed there's no cutout in the screen protector now! My 13 Pro ESR had a tiny cutout.

The Ultra to me puts the Stainless Steel in a weird place. If somebody was planning on ordering a 45mm Stainless Steel at $749, I'd pay $50 more to get the Ultra. Seems that I'd either go with Aluminum or Ultra at this point, unless I could get the Stainless Steel on sale for at least $100 off.

I need to see the Ultra in person first. The thing with the Ultra for me is that I have a small wrist, so getting it just because it's only $50 more won't make sense if it's larger than the top of my wrist.

Why are people “biting the bullet” for the $20 membership versus just paying $6 for a one time hold at the UPS CC? I just put in a request for the $6 hold. Did I make a mistake?

Unless you live in a very sparsely populated area I wouldn’t recommend this. The Apple Store will be a zoo for this and every drop of inventory that pops up will get snatched up by someone online hitting F5 all day. Trust me. Save yourself the headache and just keep an eye on the website for stock. You’ll have a much higher chance of success and not having to deal with disappointment while watching scores of people leaving with the new hotness.

I'm upgrading my Apple Watch this year (coming from a Series 1) and was 100% set on going stainless steel this year, but at the minimal cost difference to the ultra I'm second guessing that decision. So I definitely need to see it in person as well.

If you make more than 3 orders in a year, it will be worth.

While I am excited to see the 14, I have to admit...this is the first year the new Apple Watch (Ultra) is the one I'm most anxious to see.

Not to muddy the thread topic but I did decide to go with the Ultra this year. I had upgraded the Watch every year since introduced except for last year. The Ultra seems quite compelling. I wish the Trail Loop Bands weren't backordered so far out. Did you decide to pick one up for yourself?

Yup! But my work days go by fast cause it's always 7-10 things I need to do lol. This is going to be a long week but at least iOS 16 comes out tomorrow and then reviews for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 pro come out Tuesday or Wednesday.
