Also CargoLux is a European based cargo company. 99% sure it’s not shipping Apple hardware, UPS isn’t even their customer if they were chartering planes.

I’m from Canada and I know there’s a thread for Canada, but there’s very little to nothing happening there lol. I follow this thread every year but I have to chime in here and say I love this!

I ordered iPhone 14 Pro 128GB Deep Purple just minutes into the preorders. Delivery date still shows as Sept. 16 but can’t seem to get tracking by reference on UPS my choice no matter how I try ☹️ Maybe I’m in a completely different shipment because Canadian models are different in that we still have a sim tray 🤷🏻‍♂️

We US folks have no idea but if it says 9/16, you should be good.

Postal Service Update (potentially):

I just checked my USPS Informed Delivery Dashboard (linked from a daily digest of snail mail I'm receiving) and there's a shipping label that was created yesterday, the day I preordered, and about the same time (3:53pm) that my iPhone order status changed to "preparing for shipment".

Can others with the 9/23 postal service and 'preparing to ship' status check their USPS Informed Delivery dashboards to confirm if they see the same? This would disappointingly potentially confirm that a random segment of us early-minute preorderers were dumped onto USPS.

I have a package in the USPS informed delivery app that requires a signature. It’s coming from Illinois so I’m not sure. But I haven’t ordered anything else that it could be.

For us, what's worked on track by reference is either order number minus last two digits (include the W), or full phone number (although some people needed to drop the last one or two digits).

Usually, this website tells a flight's complete or near complete story. So far, I can't find any anomalies with this flight on this website. Insane.... 17-hour flight. That is near the limit that a 747 can fly in 1 go....

This can't be right...

Doing a simple google search, the 1st result says that the maximum time that a 747 can fly without refueling is 16 hours, not 17 hours....

Ummm...this isn't strictly a cargo flight. This is a commercial flight, with passengers on board as well....It could have iPhones in its cargo hold, but very unlikely, as most of that cargo will be passenger luggage...

All in good fun. My 15th straight year with a new iPhone and about, I guess, 12 years looking here and I thought it would get old, but it doesn’t. Then I turn away from this thread and poke my head into the new one in about a year.
