not out of china yet... even though I received a notification my AI was shipped yesterday. But as long as my "Delivery September 16" still shows on tracking I'm not worried.

I'm in the same boat. Stuck in ZZ with a 9:50 arrival there. In the past I've seen delays in clearing customs or packages just sitting somewhere along the way. However, they still arrive on launch day along with the one that are further along the route now.

However, does knowing that make me any less anxious? Of course not! I'm currently wearing out the refresh on the UPS app.🙄

I’m right there with you. This happens to me almost every year. My phone always gets “left behind” in the app.

30-45 minutes. I did it all at work tho. Got nothing better to do. Nothing comes between me and my iPhone. Not even sleep. good luck!

I guess ups.com tracking is behind the UPS app tracking: my app shows that I'm on the way to Louisville (almost there), but the website shows "departed Incheon" as the most recent info.

I honestly haven't. It is iPhone week 👑. Means NO SLEEP! Everything is on hold. My whole life, work... everything until the iPhone arrives. Those that know me well here know. It's the real deal!

Well, My husband works from home so here's hoping the UPS driver actually knocks and waits for a bit so he can sign for it. Knowing my luck it will be re-scheduled and I'll just hold it at a location near my work and get it probably Monday.

it is weird to assume that even though "preparing to ship" it is actually moving. for previous macbook pro orders I get the play-by-play from China, to Alaska etc. But apparently not with the iPhone? Weird.

Thank you! Glad I'm not the only one. You guys have to understand. We spend a lot of time with our iPhone. This iPhone is everything and it does everything for us. It does so much for us. Go beyond!!

For me it’s the complete Opposite, staying busy makes time go faster but it’s funny we yearn for the new iphone when we all know it’s going to take hours to setup anyways right when we get it lolol.

Don't you love it when UPS sets status as "Attempted Delivery" and you were literally waiting there the whole day to receive it.

Is your local hub in Franklin Park? UPS was going to to charge me too but they eventually waived it after venting my frustration and asking to speak with a supervisor

Palatine is my UPS CC.

I should clarify that my charge is referring to Apple charging my credit card for in-store pickup at the Deer Park Apple store.
