You know itās amazing to see how far weāve come with Apple over the many years. I remember getting the iPod, like the chonky boy with scroll wheel and I thought this is absolutely amazing. And now weāre at iPhone 14. Wow.

Letās gooo. In one hour you will have landed in Alaska
I'm glad Apple's skunkworks labs never released a scroll wheel dialer phone. Touchscreen iPhone was perfect as a revolutionary 1st gen device. I remember an ad showing what people bought at Radio Shack that were supplanted with iPhone. Game changing and still evolving. I always want the latest gen.Very true. When you zoom out and look at the journey, itās been quite the change. I remember using my friendās iPod in those early days, it was mind blowing then. I later got the Shuffle as a present and that ran for years. I still want to get one of the early gen with the wheel just for fun lol. The design still looks great.
Yeah scroll wheel phone wouldāve been funny. IIRC they announced the iPod touch after the iPhone but released it before iPhone. I remember seeing someone on the bus one day with it and stared in awe lol. Even the touchscreen iPod was insane at that time.I'm glad Apple's skunkworks labs never released a scroll wheel dialer phone. Touchscreen iPhone was perfect as a revolutionary 1st gen device. Legendary keynote lolWouldnt that just be a portable rotary phone?
LOL. That was fun to watch. Also mind bending to watch them struggle with it, having only worked smartphones before. Makes me wonder about a future when kids wonāt know how to work our current iPhones which would be outdated technology at that point! šSpeaking of rotary phones.
