Well, you have two flights to Ontario and one flight to LAX all landing before 5am tomorrow. It’s still a possibility if you your on one of those flight. Apple is pretty hard core about getting you a launch day phone if that’s what you’ve been confirmed with all day today. It’s pretty amazing how they can unload, sort and deliver that stuff.

Just to add… one year I was on that 5am flight… totally bummed. Got to Sylmar by 6 and got notification that it would be ready for pickup at 8. Well I went and they Lied, it wasn’t available but I wasn’t alone. They hadn‘t brought them over from across the street. Took abut 20 minutes or so… we all took our phones home.

It shows up but it will populate ups stores first, you have to type in the zip code of the CC for it to show up 😉

Me too. Must have landed in Ontario and then went by truck to Sylmar!! But yay for us both!!

Damn UPS! Requested a pickup at local CC and still no indication that it went through and if I can even pick it up tomorrow morning. I will be away from home in the afternoon. $6.00 for them to tell me nothing. And they won't let me cancel the request.
Anyone have any idea when I will be notified by UPS if I can pick it up tomorrow morning?

Anyone in the Los Angeles area still sitting at import scan in Louisville since this morning? 9-16 delivery date as per Apple. Seems like a lot of tings have to fall into place in order for it to be delivered tomorrow. Is it time to be concerned?

I’m in Houston not LA but same status. I have my fingers crossed since every year I always get it on launch day.

Typically when you make the request for UPS CC hold, they will receive it, but it is internal, so you won't see the change. However, once it gets to your destination and have the destination scan, they system will see that you made the request and from there they will send you the ready for pick up email/text

The Fold isn't a gimmick. Apple will follow suit soon, because the ability to make a regular size phone into a iPad mini size is very appealing to a lot of people.

Yeah, I think it’s a confirmation by the Actual CC, once they have it. Maybe it’ll populate tonight, but probably NLT tomorrow morning 8am kinda thing.
