Browns-Colts sure was...something. Glad the Browns pulled it out, but they absolutely got a gift with that last pass interference call.

I don't blme the refs, they are human. But I blame the league. They could do a college thing, where every play is under scrutiny and could be reversed. Or how about allowing challenges on anything, including penalties called and not called?

I blame Calvin Johnson for making the Refs believe that pass was catchable. If it were Megatron, I could see him making that impossible catch. Anyone else...nah.

Obvious mistakes like that PI call should have been overturned and reversed by the replay booth official. If it's so obvious that the casual fan can call it in replay, it should be overturned. Nobody could have caught that ball. It was higher than a hippie on the 3rd day of an outdoors concert.

Spoke to soon about the Lions... good lord...

Yeah, didn’t see that one coming, they got absolutely flattened by the Ravens.

The Dolphins v Eagles result was expected, the Dolphins looked like a much less physical team and were taking a pounding in various places. The running backs were competitive, and that was about it.

The Bills v Pats result was a surprise, I honestly thought the Bills would be much the better side, but at this rate I see them having trouble getting to the later stages of the playoffs.

I also think refs need to get to together more often and discuss calls. Too often, an official makes a call and it's just rubber stamped by the head ref.

Challenges on penalties (called or not) would be a nightmare... as there's some form of "holding" on almost every play...

You'd stilll get only 2+1. Plus, There still is the understanding that it's a judgment call. We get that. But often, replay reveals details that the refs don't see in live action.

Unfortunately, I think it will be them. Who is going to stop them?
Jags 😂 they have been surprising me this season with their wins. They held the Chiefs to just 17 points their first match up which is the least than anybody this season against the Chiefs. Jags have never won a superbowl, the network can spins some kind of narrative on it 😂

The Broncos held them to 19 points and still lost.

The Jaguars are too inconsistent, they will not beat the Chiefs in the playoffs.

The REST OF THE AFC are too inconsistent, they will not beat the Chiefs in the playoffs.

IMHO, unless something catastrophic happens in KC we will not see them out of the SB, or losing too many of them, for a few more years.

Can't wait to see which BUF team shows up tonight... and for that matter, which Baker Mayfield...

What a crazy weekend. 49ers lost against the Bengals. Maybe Purdy returned too early after his concussion? Chiefs lost… what a mess. Mahomes was sick and looked like crap, but surprisingly he wasn’t the one with the worst performance. He was constantly under pressure. Wouldn’t surprise me if the rest of the team is sick next week.
Commanders/Eagles was a great game, but decided by the refs. The Commanders should have won this, ground can’t catch a ball for a new first down, leading to a TD. That’s when the the whole thing turned around. Time to recycle Jerry Jones’ Halloween costume from last year.

Well I was surprised to see Denver beat KC. Funny to be just talking about those two.

Watched the the Jags vs Steelers game. Now I see what you mean very sloppy win. Tons of flags too, and they seemed to continue on to the Seahawks vs Browns game that was after in my region.

At least the Broncos beat them... just saw some of the highlights, KC D looked completely confused on one of those TD passes they gave up.

I've no hope for the RAIDERS @ DET tonight.

Its clear that NO team is dominant this year. The two big favorites, Philly and KC, are vulnerable. As are SF, Dallas, Miami and a bunch of others. Teams that are surprising, Balt and Jacksonville.

AFC contenders
Miami
Buffalo
Baltimore
Jacksonville
KC

NFC Contenders
Dallas
Philly
Detroit
Seattle
SF

Any of those could win it all. And there are a bunch of 4-3 teams that could surge.

I do believe the curtain is closing on the Purdy Show.

Levis may have won the starting job in TEN after yesterday's 4 TD performance.

They, TEN, should also be glad it took the Falcons a while to put Taylor Heinicke in the game. The Titans are 22nd overall on defense in the NFL.

Nowhere near as bad as the RAIDERS though, who are ranked 32nd... So maybe you'll all be a little more understanding when @pachyderm and I have so little faith... lol

D was terrible, but looking at the stats of the game it seems pretty even. I think it ultimately came down to the turnovers. 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles for the Chiefs and one fumble on Broncos side. Not to excuse the poor performance of the Chiefs, but everything seemed pretty even between the two teams and the turnovers were the deciding moments.

I'd blame the first interception on Mahomes. Just don't play when you're sick. Purdy did the same last week. He went into a QB sneak which ended up with a concussion. He kept playing to throw two interceptions.

As for the SB, hard to say and always injury and ref related. If we ignore that, I'd go with KC vs SF in the SB.
Next week should be interesting as KC is playing Miami in Germany.

I do believe the curtain is closing on the Purdy Show.
Just give it a while, the 49ers do a great job. They lost a game due to bad decisions (ultimately a missed FG), then a concussion (they should have taken him out of the game) and then maybe a too early return. They have a Bye week now and then play the Jaguars.
