I did not expect the Cowboys being destroyed by the 49ers... not like that. I thought it would be a much, much closer game.

Rams vs Eagles was closer than the final score would suggest. Eagles are still 5-0, but they already struggled against the Patriots and whenever the Eagles struggle, there seem to be a lot of injuries/facemasks on the other team. Also, that tush push needs to go next season. This isn't Rugby and it's as boring as it gets, particularly when they do it multiple times, play after play. They're playing the Dolphins in two weeks and I can already see them tush pushing 100 yards down the field.

Embarrassing... And that is putting it lightly.

Yeah the Cowboys v 49ers result was surprising in its totality. And what were the Bills doing the week after a great win over the Dolphins in a potential playoff matchup, to lose against the Jaguars?

The Bills are something like 2-4 against the Jags recently. They can't seem to beat them. Plus, Jags in London 10 days, the Bills two days. The Bills were too cheap to send them earlier than Friday and so jet lag sapped them. At least a factor. The Jags played great though, especially defensively.

Not a 49ers fan, but good golly their team has been built out last two years. If Purdy doesn’t get injured like last year that team is going to keep being dangerous. Can’t wait till they play the Eagles and Seahawks later this season.

LOL.....well if the Bears had to be told, then they're in the same category as the Broncos......amazingly, neither team is the "worst" as both teams can point to Carolina for that distinction
Da Bears should improve next year as they're on track to get 2 picks in the top 10. They can trade the #1 overall pick again to gain 2 first round pick in 2025.😁

Tanking has become an art, if the nr 1 pick in the draft is worth so much. Teams will be competing to be the absolute worst, even worse than the other bad teams.

The brass might want the team to tank, but players have their pride. No way are they going to tarnish their reputation for a high draft pick.

Look at the Texans players in the final game last year. All they had to do was play well enough to not look bad, but did they? Oh, hail no. They played inspired football in a meaningless game, scored a last second TD and lost the #1 overall pick.🤷‍♂️

The brass were pissed. The fans were pissed. The Media 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ the team for weeks.

Agreed. The players who are plying aren't going to tank. But of course, that doesn't stop the team from keeping certain players off the field.

I watched the Raiders vs Packers game, and I'm of the opinion that the Raiders are merely mediocre.......clearly they aren't as easy to beat as the Broncos

anyway, the Raiders have already beaten the Broncos once this year, although just barely
Oh lawdy! The RAIDERS are horrible.

Calling them "mediocre" is greatly overestimating them!

I feel a 7 - 9 season coming on...

We have NE at home. I guess we'll find who's sh*t show is worse... lol

Google tells me that a 7-9 season has been good enough to make it the playoffs in the not to distant past; Seattle in 2010 and Washington in 2020

Surely a team has to be at least "mediocre" to qualify for the playoffs....yes they keep changing things, but truly "horrible" teams can't make it into the playoffs?

Or can they???

hmmmmmm......maybe?

49ers need to learn a lesson. Don’t let the other team drag you into a fight. It completely broke their entire game today. I bet the Eagles were paying close attention.

The injuries hurt too.

The problem with Purdy is, he is a game manager. No one wants to say it, they love the "Mr. Irrelevant" story, but he isn't going to win games on his own. McCaffrey and Deebo and the defense were winning games. All Purdy had to do was not make a mistake. But with McCaffrey out, Deebo out...
