Burrow, on IR, out for the season. So much for the Bengals this year.

It’s that offensive line. I remember there being a whole range of discussions last year about whether Burrow would last with the Bengals, because he was getting sacked such a lot. He was remarkably durable last year, but eventually that kind of punishment must be wearing, and it increases the chances of a freak injury. We will have to see how long his career ends up being.

Aaron Rodgers is thinking the same thing :)

Well, I thought the Bills v Eagles game deserved its top billing this Sunday, it was a close game after the Eagles comeback and the Bills nearly nailed it in overtime. Great game for a neutral to watch. The impressive QB runs in particular were a key feature.

It is surprising that the Bills are now 6-6, and need to put a bit of a run together to make the postseason.

And once again, the Bills D collapses at the end of a game. The prevent defense prevented a win. Again.
I see a lot of Bills fans getting frustrated and calling for McDermott's head, however I seem to remember how dark things were in Buffalo before McDermott / Allen came around. What do you think, are these losses on the HC?

Blame the coach if he keeps one of his best players (who is healthy) on the sidelines instead of in the game. Otherwise, if the coach fumbles the ball 3 times, it's his fault then too.

McDermott doesn't learn. they rarely make any useful adjustments. The Bills D continues to fold at the end of games, and McD is the one who took over the defense, after firing Leslie Frasier. (yeah, he isn't on "leave," he was fired). The D choked on the last two drives yesterday, and gave up the game winning TD to Mack freakin' Jones in an inexcusable loss to the Patriots. They also lost to Zach Wilson. Wilson and Jones, two of the three least rated QBs this season. The D just gives up ten yards every play at the end of games, due to that terrible prevent. They don't guard the sidelines either. Philly didn't even need to call any of it's last two timeouts until they were in FG range.

They blew the Denver game with too many men on the field. There is no threat of discipline or accountability on that team. And no leadership. That's all on McD's head.

There are other issues too. Like Vonn Miller being a bust. Gabe Davis is too inconsistent to be a #2 WR.

Consider this: Denver and Houston have better records than the Bills.

The bright spot: Joe Brady as new off coordinator, two games, two 30+ point games, against two good Ds. The Bills can actually have a run threat now.

My last thought on the Bills about the Philly game.

The old saying about insanity: doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. Like playing the prevent defense with a lead.

Denver (too many men). Philly (all the stuff I said above). Losing to New England. And even the Jets first game (4 turnovers). Instead the Bills being 6-6, they should be 10-2. At least 9-3, if you take out that Jets game. All ebcause of stupidity and lack of discipline. Philly and KC don't make those mistakes over and over. The Bills do. A change is needed.

Looks like Dobbs is coming back down to earth, after the hot start with Minny. Although some of those interceptions were on the receivers. I always thought it was unfair to QBs when an interception that is blatantly dropped by a receiver goes against their record.

Broncos on a five game winning streak and only two spots out of the playoffs.

Who’da thunk it?

Obviously they have to keep winning, but I think they're going to need some help. They currently have the same record as the Colts and the Texans but those two are ahead in the standings....those two teams need to lose more often if the Broncos are going to make into the playoffs.

I'm hoping the Broncos make it

Broncos play the Texans this Sunday. It is a must win game for us.

I never thought he was going to be the next Purdy. He did some good things, but in the end, he's a journeyman.
