Are you dropping mortgage payments on an AVP?

My order finally changed to "Shipped" and I got my tracking number! 🥳
Yeah the tracking was in UPS my choice for awhile but Apple didn’t provide that update. The AVPs have been sitting in Kentucky since July 3rd.

Edit - they finally moved from Louisville lol. Just in time for delivery tomorrow.

Anyone’s lenses stuck at the Louisville depot? My AVP is in Ohio but lenses haven’t moved from the Louisville depot since late last night.

AVP is in Seattle.
Lenses in Louisville
Case in Mount Hope

All set to arrive tomorrow, so the tracking fun continues.

Yeah I hope the lenses move soon. I wouldn’t even be able to use the AVP without the lenses lol

Same. 12:10am and my lenses still show as being in Louisville. Hopefully it’s because they are coming by air and the APV by ground.

(I’m in Toronto)

**** my lenses tracking now shows clearance in progress Monday delivery. Guess I won’t be able to enjoy the AVP over the weekend :(

I’m also near Toronto (Hamilton)

Same here, mine shifted to Monday the 15th delivery as well. I'm hoping that changes with their next movement, but worst case I guess I can use contacts for now (though its not ideal)

I’m in the same boat. AVP Friday, lenses Tuesday. I do have contacts as a backup , but I hate wearing them and it will be not a great experience for the first few days. So frustrating. You would think since this is not the first launch for these things they would have made them arrive together!

Yep super frustrating indeed. I had a bad feeling when I saw no movement in Louisville for basically an entire day. UPS really dropped the ball here.

I don’t think mine has even got to Louisville. It left China last night. My first email after approval said Lenses on July 12 , then it said 17-19. I blame Zeiss. So frustrating after waiting for months for this day!!!

Faster deliveries hope they will be 🤓

Lenses just left Louisville. Monday midday delivery estimate. How they didn’t have someone managing the shipments to ensure the lenses arrived with the AVP is beyond me.

Edit - UPS just told me there was a processing error at the Louisville depot, which caused a delay on everyone’s lenses.

Got my Vision Pro but can’t use it until Monday because of the UPS zeiss lens **** up. UPS won’t change delivery to Saturday and they said if I hold at the depot it takes 1-2 business days to process. Apple told me too bad contact UPS.

So in essence they both told me too bad so sad lol

I guess I got lucky since my lenses made the flight from Louisville and were delivered a few hours ago.

Still waiting for UPS to deliver the AVP though (should out for delivery so hopefully soon!!)

Nice! Are you in western Canada or eastern Canada? Seems like Ontario orders were for sure impacted.

Those of you getting Vision Pro now that it's launching in Canada, will this be your first time having a chance to use it? Or you have had some hands on with it in the US / demo / friends / etc?

I had a demo in the NYC SoHo store about a week after launch down there - which solidified my plan to get it when it launched here. I was tempted to buy one that day and bring it up but I didn’t want to have to deal with customs (really only HST - but would still be paying NY sales tax too) - plus didn’t want to have to juggle between US and Canadian apple accounts.

First time.

My level of annoyance is maxed out due to the fact I’ll have to wait until Monday to set it up but definitely looking forward to it.

Just got mine an hour ago, first time trying it and it’s awesome! Sorry to hear about the issues with lenses not being delivered at the same time 😕

I hear you. I ended up buying near launch while travelling. Was so excited recently to finally start using my Canadian Apple account for the App Store and Media.
