I definitely disagree, you swearing on a work floor is a world away from drivers being interviewed on live TV being broadcast around the world to children as well as adults.
Do you know what it actually was he said? Children don't watch those parts anyway, except the super nerdy ones. And children use language way worse than what he actually said. The words he used aren't banned, nor beeped out, with no watershed, in his home country, and also not where the FIA is headquartered either. Just part of language, funnily enough English language - and yes in the UK, and the USA before a certain time of day they get beeped. But walk down the street and you'll hear much worse. Just keeping up appearances, just like the pleases and thank you's without sincerity behind them.

I do agree that the swearing shouldn't be allowed. I don't mind it so much but it is unseemly to me in a post race interview. Getting one every so often over the radio in the heat of battle is different.

I also can't stand the post race radio nonsense, "Congrats, You've won the Italian Gp!" lol. It's bad enough listening to broadcasters, of ALL SPORTs, wax orgasmically about these pampered twits but then to hear their team blather on in such a manner is simply infuriating. lol

So what do we think about how the Sprint Race will pan out? The Ferraris were rubbish on Softs (hence them falling off a cliff in SQ3), but they seemed to be dominant on Mediums.

Um, could someone explain Stroll, and his dadddy? I thought the idea was "Daddy I want to be a Formula 1 World Champion.." So daddy buys a F1 team, for not much, and thus Stroll Jnr is a Formula 1 Driver, but the guy is slow as frozen molasses, I forgot, but to be F1 WDC you need to do what? Finish 9th/10th/last in the season or ???? Better than 9th?? Do the Strolls' understand how points in WDC work???

Whoever came up with the sprint races should just be fired though…
I think Sprints should be for the reserve driver, you haul his every expensive ass all over the rock, pay his very expensive salary/hotel bill, and he sits getting a callous on his rear from doing nothing.. FP1 should be 30 min FP1 for reserve driver, 10 minute rest/recharge car, 20 min Sprint Q.. Then Sunday, 2 hours before the race, Sprint Race for 30 min or 10 laps..

But to put some of the best drivers, through the circus of Sprints, well expect that from a clown college.. Sprints are for children.. Really honestly, the risk v reward, it just has zero merits, to risk a car/driver, and we know about roasted cars and drivers.. Sprints just don't merit the risk putting a 4 times WDC for what is mere entertainment.. Why not on track bull fighting? 1000 points to anyone who unalives a bull??? Less risk there than at 230mph/55G's into a techpro barrier..

I think George will take it. He seems to be in the zone, and getting rather consistent. Lando has put in some amazing laps but I don’t think k he can do it for a race.

Ferrari, no can’t see if. But they will get 4 and fifth I think.

Checo; nil points ;)

I must admit this is my least favourite circuit. Just doesn’t do it for me at all. Reminds me of Doha airport, grand as in big but oh so boring.

La Guardia is dull, JFK is dull, but oh dear, my local airport is even duller.. But the the worst track of 2024, Monaco..And it is still on the tour.. They can make a better layout at Luton Airport..

Yes, the procession at Monte Carlo is dull, but at least the place is classy and nice. Not something you can say about Luton airport, saying that I am flying from there next week :(

During the unmentionable period between seasons 2019 and 2021, I was bored, looked at Luton Airport as a venue, and from the overhead layout map thing, it looks actually do-able, a bit like that Yanky race IndyShoppingTrolleys.. They race at some airport, use the runway as part of the track.. So why not.. Cannot be any worse than Monaco.. Is Monaco classy? Just a bunch of dull houses on a rock..

uuhhh... I believe that used to be the Cleveland Gp... lol. I hate that "[]circuit[/i]".

Luton has such a great badge though:

My money is on George. He's on it right now, and the W15 seems to be responding.

LGA and JFK are old and poorly designed. This applies to the majority of US Airports. If you think it's tough transitioning through them, try communicating with ATC between 3p-7p EST. You had better arrive with your A Game on full display.

Very cool move on Lando’s part giving Oscar the win.

Meanwhile Perez gives away P18 in the pits straight to Colapinto and never manages to recover his position. Last weekend I went karting for the first time and I think I’d be more useful than him. Okay that’s a bit of a hyperbole I admit.

I didn't get it. Neither of them looked happy, smiled to Zak who was over the moon. But then the non-verbal communication changed. I totally get the tow, I mean this is for the constructors. But I don't get giving the win to Oscar. He has two gifted wins this year.

Hehehe, yes that was embarrassing. I think most people are more useful than him.

Well I didn’t see the aftermath. Norris was ahead and gave the tow so he definitely did not have to do it. I thought maybe for driver championship position but didn’t check. Strange otherwise.

Max P7 in Sprint Qualifying. “Ya, I don’t know. The balance is gone.”

Max P8 in the Sprint. “Ya, I have no balance. It’s difficult to drive.”

Race Qualifying. P1. “Ya, It’s a little better now.”

He’s playing 4D Chess. 😉

Yes but the set up was different and it showed. Even Perez improved!

Spring was a dull DRS train mostly. I expect a similar race. The main difference being tire degradation.

Lewis is so checked out this season. If he could skip the last two races he would. The season is just too long now. Time to drop some of the races for sure.

Even I feel for Lewis. One can literally feel his resignation from Mercedes every interview.

Yes, George was very much hooked up on Softs. And he is now on Pole with Max being penalized a spot for holding George up.

It was payback for Piastri letting Lando past to win the São Paulo Sprint Race.
Ah, got ya. Well there Lando was in with a chance for the world championship, I get the need to help and support. Here there was not benefit, it was too artificial and weird. In my opinion of-course.

I think George can hold his own. Probably better than Max driving off from pole whilst the rest fight it out for the other podium places.
George will be whinging about everyone on track. He is such a tell-tale, first speaking out about what happened in Vegas, and on track he was super annoying with his commentary. He can race, he doesn't need to be a whinging POM.
