Lovely British Summer day in Silverstone. 😛

The rain should make qualifying interesting.
I'm not too far from there and we are getting a bit of sun now. But I'm expecting changeable. I just hope its not a rain delayed session due to the football kicking off at 5....

Well at least Perez will be starting in front of Gasley with his 50 place grid penalty. Just for a second I hoped it was Max that was beached in the gravel on slicks.

Well Q1 was fun to watch. Changeable conditions and Max under pressure for a while. Can't see he didn't damage the floor with his off roading.

LeClerc out in Q2. Max suffered significant floor damage in his off-road at Copse so I do not think he is a threat for pole.

What? Where were you? You missed a great session.

Proud to be British for once!

I’d settle for three Brits on the podium. But somehow I think Max with a repaired floor and the weather will have a big say in how it ends up.

Impressive drive by George indeed. Very happy to see him P1. Both Mercedes were impressive from Q1 to Q3. While they have substantial Circuit Specific Upgrades one has to be impressed considering where they were at Round 2.

Cant help wondering what Lewis’ thoughts are at this point? Mercedes could be potent in 2025.

It was interesting to see Adrian seated next to Horner today. I was under the impression he was sailing in the Pacific?

Maybe he dropped anchor for a bit!

This 50 grid drop is really tedious, the solution is a mandatory drive through within 5 laps of the start, or 30 seconds added to the end of the race, but this drop back 50 places in a 20 car grid, on a good weekend we have 19 on the grid and one or more pit lane..

My fortune has changed and my wife is taking the kids out so I can watch my only live race of the season, just hope for a British winner.
Result! I did my gardening duties this morning so I'm free anyway.

The question is will it be wet or dry (or most likely both!).

Typical dreadful British summer weather put an end to our plans for going out. Did all the chores early too so managed to have a rare Sunday afternoon chill. Hopefully a mixed race for weather, makes it more exciting especially at the second best track on the calendar.

I’ll be happy with a Lando, Lewis or George win, just need Verstappen to be held up or pushed into a mistake for that to happen.

Max has a new floor. Luckily they had a spare. If they hadn't would they have taken the one from Perez car?

I’d love to see Lewis win a race after so long but really want Norris to win his home race. The last 15 laps might be interesting as the rain stops and the track starts to dry. Could be anybody’s including Verstappen.
