we won’t have the tariff issue in 2027, everyone calm your tits
Chinese workers have the technical expertise to mass produce devices. 'Merica also has "extraordinarily cheap" labor pool as well: for profit prison.😕 The problem is there aren't enough prisoners with the skills to assemble iPhones at the speed and quality of the ChineseIt's really because of the 'extraordinarily cheap' labor in China. #TimApple
They don’t care about their workers. They only care about the bad publicity it generates if someone dies. It’s because there’s laws against a lot of that in the USA. These laws do add to the cost of labor though. I think everything is a balance. Even in China, they try to protect the workers from jumping by installing safety nets. It’s not like they don’t care about their workforce.
Don't worry, they're going to change the design to something that can be manufactured in the US:It has to be made in America!
Yeah, the ship has already sailed on freedom. But we were heading this way anyway - if not him, it would've been someone else. Way sooner than I thought, tho. I had estimated we had ~50 years left. Oh well. Nothing to do now but Party Like It's 1999!Hoping the orange 🎃 tool will be impeached and removed from office by then, but considering he's a dictator now the US consitution can be interpreted anyway you like, I don't see it happening.
But you know what "make america great again" means, right?Because slavery was abolished in the United States since 1865.
Underscreen cameras already exist; however, under-screen cameras which can be disguised perfectly AND not suffer from lower image quality dont exist yet. That is Apple's goal.Wonder what a 20th anniversary model will look like... In my mind I've got Ive's "piece of glass", but the required technologies like underscreen FaceID and camera have always been "2 years away" for the last 6-7 years...
Don't worry, tarrifs are only to forc China to remove their own tarrifs on the USHoping the orange 🎃 tool will be impeached and removed from office by then, but considering he's a dictator now the US consitution can be interpreted anyway you like, I don't see it happening.
It's the only feature that distinguishes it from an iPad mini, so why not?I wonder if we will ever stop calling these devices 'phones'?
Isn’t that every big corporation? I’ve heard where a worker died at a certain big store in the USA and the manager was mainly concerned about getting the body off the sales floor because it’s scaring customersThey don’t care about their workers. They only care about the bad publicity it generates if someone dies.
Slightly off-topic, but read "The Fate of Empires and Search for Survival" by Sir John Glubb. The average empire lasts about 250 years starting with Assyria in 859 B.C. to the fall of the British empire starting in the 1950s. So, perfect timing. But we were heading this way anyway - if not him, it would've been someone else. Way sooner than I thought, tho. I had estimated we had ~50 years left.
To be fair, the current iPhones are also extraordinarily complex.Excited for innovation from Apple, but “extraordinarily complex” doesn’t sound like something I’d want to pay for or use without extreme care. Curious to see what this will turn out to be.
I have an idea for a name. How about Newton? 😂I have an idea. How about "personal digital assistant", or PDA for short? (where have I heard that before....?)
Just wait until the iPhone 30 - what will the rating be? XXXiPhone XX
Because slavery was abolished in the United States since 1865.
The Doctor kept calling his multi-function tool a screwdriver, even though it's a screwdriver, a remote detonator, a lock pick, a medical scanner, a computer hacking tool, etc.I wonder if we will ever stop calling these devices 'phones'?
