Excited to hear that there will be something special for the 20th anniversary. Wonder whether the foldable will be released only in 2027. Maybe even the iPhone Ultra might launch in 2027. Expecting India to manufacture these models maybe by mid 2028.

Don't give us a gimmicky phone just give us a bug free software and better battery for phones and watches.

Ha ha - can you imagine the public and media response to that... And for our 20th Anniversary Special we give you more battery life and we've made the software less buggy.

China will strike a deal in our favor and Trump proven right by then. Not to worry.

Wow! You clearly know nothing about the Chinese. Have you actually watched any unbiased media? The Chinese leadership is not interested in striking any sort of deal in the favour of the US, in fact, quite the reverse. US shelves will be empty and your prices will have doubled long before President Xi picks up any phone. Any pain they have to endure they will see as well worth it as the US gets increasingly damaged and Trump gets even more humiliated. I suspect (in fact, I am sure) that the Chinese public have a far, far greater tolerance for pain and discomfort than the average American consumer does.

The "extraordinarily complex" aspect seems to only be a description of the manufacturing processes required, not that the new phone will necessarily be extraordinarily delicate as a result, unless the design will have the four edges of its display glass curve downward further, increasing the risk of damage to the glass if the phone is dropped and lands on one of those edges.
It does sound like complicated glass and folding will be the themes of the two models.

Because slavery was abolished in the United States since 1865.
UNLESS you happen to be imprisoned. Millions of American citizen slaves in the penal system. And with the already for-profit-prison industry where they make billions off of just housing, abusing, and feeding prisoners garbage and letting them die of easily treatable diseases, they have the added bonus of contracting out the slave labor to many American businesses who have no qualms about using all-American slave labor.

I wonder how Apple's under display Face ID and cameras will perform. It's going to be interesting to see.

I agree with Dave here

While iPhone X was a big change from previous iPhones, it pretty much sucked. But Ill try to be optimistic about this next anniversary iPhone

What you don’t realize is the information environment is always controlled by someone. In China, it’s controlled by the government, but in the USA it’s controlled by billionaires who control the government. Why do you think all the TV networks pretty much put out the same information? Fox just pretends to contradict some of it, but they really don’t. If it gets too serious, they shut it down just like they did with a certain person that worked for them. Most Americans get their information from sources that are highly controlled. Sure there are spots on the Internet that aren’t locked down, but they are far and few between.

To Paraphrase those that criticize capitalism and the USA you’ve only been giving the illusion of freedom. You really don’t have freedom. You’re made to believe you can be anything you want, but you really can’t. There is some truth to that.

There’s not a whole lot different between the Chinese government and the USA government when it comes to certain things. Go visit China and see how the people live. They don’t lock them in dungeons and beat them regularly. They have many of the same laws we have.

Reagan enabled american companies to start outsourcing to China, and to see such companies, for example, complaining about "IP theft" is kind of hilarious considering Chinese laws force them to partner with local companies, and the two companies to share know-how with each other.

I believe it was Tim Cook who said that you can't find better manufacturing elsewhere than in China. Then come the supply chains which don't work the way trump thinks they do.

Anyway buy the poco F7 pro

I think the unusual 20th anniversary iPhone and the upcoming foldable iPhone maybe the ONLY iPhones still made at Foxconn in China. All other future models may be assembled in India or other new locations in southeast Asia.

Is nice to know MAGA loves slave labor and child labor, as long as is American slave labor/child labor. So why don’t you move to any country that uses slave labor? You be right at home.
If I had posted something this ugly to a forum member I’d be deleted and censured (has happened) due to personal attack. So let’s talk about how slave labor works in socialist/communist countries and their love of freedom. Ever notice a hammer and sickle on a flag? Let’s talk about your envy of those who work hard and prosper and how capitalism has raised standards of living for the entire world….. and defeated slavery, catapulting forward the Industrial Revolution…… please talk and talk and talk… 😂😂😂
