The problem more seems to be with third party hubs and dongles

So so far happy with the device ? Yes the fan runs when gaming, which can be expected, but any other disappointments ?
Nope. I really like it. It doesn't feel quite as sturdy as the previous gen but no complaints. The bigger touchpad is great and I find myself using the whole thing and the keyboard is awesome. My favourite keyboard ever period. Granted keyboards are just a question of what you are used to, I really was comfortable on it immediately. No warm up period, now nothing.

This is going to be my First Macbook (well apple product). So excited :p. My HP Probook 450 G0 is barely alive. Its fan is on full blast even when sitting idle xD so i am used to of fan sound :p

Fair enough. I suppose it could be quieter. Under my normal use of research, writing or browsing the web the fan is not audible even in a quite room. Hell to be honest if I the iPhone 7 up to my ear I hear more noise than I do the new MacBook.
I agree, 95% of the time it is very silent! Even full CPU usage won't make much noise. Definitely better than the older models :)

I know not the right place, but I am not getting any replies elsewhere,
Do you know any good Sleeves for the new macbook pro 13 inch, for under 50$ ?

You'll like it a lot probably if you get used to OS X. It will feel weird compared to windows at first. At least it did for me but I could never go back now so I'm probably a lifer.

Yes the SSD is very fast, so much so that there is a significant difference in launching my VMs. The exact same VMs I had on the old machine.
Were you running the vm's on the 2016 MacBook? If so can you compare how they run between the two machines? I am considering either the 2016 MB or MBP and am concerned the MB may not be enough for vm's, even with the M7.

Well there is a difference but depending on what you do, you might not notice it. I don't any intensive tasks in vm other than testing out video streaming app. Honestly, if the mb had 2 USB ports instead of one, I'd pick the MacBook with with the m7. For multiple vms tho the 16 gigs of ram would be a useful upgrade for sure.

Sorry maybe I misunderstood but your old machine was the 2014 MBP and not the 2016 Macbook, correct? You had reported that the new MBP was a lot faster running your vm's than your old machine.

Yes my old machine was a 2014 pro but I also have a 2015 base MacBook.
