Any recommendations for a 27 or 32 inch monitor under $400 US for the M1 pro?

I’m looking at Dell S2721QS, AOC U2790VQ, LG 32UL500-W but I have no clue how they are with the new Macs. Any other suggestions to look at or a recommendation for one of these?

I've been super happy with my Dell U2717D, so I'd presume the newer U2719D is also a good choice. I'm using it with a Caldigit TS3+.

Personally I prefer QHD (1440p) at 27", user interface is the "right" size.

While I haven't personally tried a 4K 27", it seems the non-integer scaling risks a performance hit, and I've not been at all unhappy just using a native 1440p display without any scaling. Love to try a 27" 5K display sometime but hasn't been worth the $$$ to me yet.

Edit - also

I found a mint Apple Thunderbolt monitor that works great. Not only does it give me the same resolution as my 5k iMac, but it delivers an ethernet port and several USB A ports. (usb2, of course) I see one every now and then in the used computer stores and the price depends on the physical looks of the box. Mine was $375.

What’s most important to you??

4K resolution or up to 165Hz refresh rate??

27” and 32” Monitors are generally either 4K/60fps or 1440p/165fps today.
